Kim Hye Joon in Discussion to Work Closely with 2PM's Lee Jun Ho in "Cashero"

Kim Hye Joon received an offer to join the upcoming webtoon-based K-drama Cashero.

Media outlets reported on October 30 that Kim Hye Joon will be acting as 2 PM's Lee Jun Ho's girlfriend in the upcoming action-fantasy K-drama Cashero. 

Kim Hye Joon's agency ANDMARQ Entertainment responded to the circulating reports. According to the agency, "Kim Hye Joon did receive the offer to start in Cashero and she is currently reviewing it. Nothing has been decided yet."

Cashero will showcase the journey of ordinary superheroes who protect regular people's daily lives. It will focus on the superhero named Kang Sang Woong. The story will be depicted on a webtoon of the same name written by Lee Hoon and illustrated by No Hye Ok. 

Kim Hye Joon will possibly work alongside 2 PM's Lee Jun Ho and actress Kim Hyang Gi. Kim Hye Joon got the offer to play the role of Lee Jun Ho's character's girlfriend. 

Cashero will exclusively air on Netflix. Meanwhile, there is no confirmation on the airing date of the action-fantasy K-drama.

If Kim Hye Joon confirms her casting, this will be her return to Netflix originals after three years. She was last seen on a Netflix original in 2020 through the hit series Kingdom Season 2. 

For 2023, Kim Hye Joon was not included in any K-dramas. She only made a special appearance in Dr. Romantic Season 3. 

Next year, Kim Hye Joon is set to star in the upcoming K-drama A Shop for Killers together with Lee Dong Wook, Seo Hyun Woo, Park Ji Bin, Kim Hae Na, and Ahn Se Bin. 

Kim Hye Joon last starred in the Disney+ original K-drama Connect led by Jung Hae In, Go Kyung Pyo, Kim Roe Ha, Lee Tae Hyung, and Yang Dong Geun.
