ASTRO's Yoon San Ha, Oh My Girl's Arin, & Chuu will reportedly work together in a new K-drama
Kim Hyo Jin and Jung Moon Sung will be added to the cast of the upcoming JTBC series "The Good Detective 2."
On June 29th, it was officially confirmed that Kim Hyo Jin and Jung Moon Sung will be the latest addition to the second season of "The Good Detective."
"The Good Detective 2" will continue the journey of the exemplary detectives in chasing the truth and justice from evil people. The drama will still be directed by first-season director Jo Nam Gook ("Untouchable" and "Queen of Ambition") and writer Choi Jin Won ("Big Man" and "The Apprehenders").
The series will be led by Son Hyun Joo, Jang Seung Jo, Lee Elijah, Oh Jung Se, Ji Seung Hyun, and more.
Kim Hyo Jin will play the role of Cheon Nana, the director of TJ Group. She is born out of wedlock and is not treated fairly by her conglomerate family. She will do anything to survive and be part of the family.
Jung Moon Sung on the other hand will play as Cheon Nana's husband named Woo Tae Ho. He is the head of the legal team of TJ Group. He was not born elite. He met her wife when he was still a prosecutor at the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office. He became part of the conglomerate family after marrying Cheon Nana.
The production team of the drama shared, "With the new characters Cheon Nana and Woo Tae Ho who are rich conglomerates with money and power, the second season will be more interesting. Actors Kim Hyo Jin and Jung Moon Sung perfectly portrayed their characters. Please look forward to our drama."
"The Good Detective 2" will air its first episode on July 30, 2022, at 10:30 PM KST. It will exclusively air on JTBC.
"The Good Detective 2" will be the first project of Kim Hyo Jin for 2022. She last starred in the drama "Lost" with Jeon Do Yeon, Ryu Joon Yeol, and Park Byung Eun.
This will be the first drama of Jung Moon Sung for the year. The actor will also join the upcoming series "Ants Are Riding." He is also included in the cast of the new film "Project Wolf Hunting."
