Lee Chung Ah has picked another drama for 2023.
On March 24, media outlet Sports Today confirmed that Lee Chung Ah will be joining the cast of the investigative thriller k-drama titled Hyde. According to reports, the production of the drama will begin soon.
Hyde will revolve around a woman who is seeking the truth behind several missing people.
The upcoming k-drama will be led by Lee Bo Young, Lee Chung Ah, and Lee Moo Saeng.
It will be the next work of director Kim Dong Hwi who is also known for working on the k-dramas The Tale of Nokdu, Fight for My Way, and The Merchant: Gaekju 2015.
Hyde will premiere in the second half of 2023. There is no confirmation yet on the broadcast channel and date.
This will be the second upcoming k-drama of Lee Chung Ah for the year. She is also set to lead the upcoming Netflix original series Celebrity with Park Gyu Young, Kang Min Hyuk, Lee Dong Gun, and Jeon Hyo Sung.
2023 is the grand comeback of Lee Chung Ah in the drama scene after three years. Last year, she made a special appearance in the hit SBS k-drama One Dollar Lawyer.
Lee Chung Ah last starred in the 2020 k-drama Awaken with Namgoong Min, AOA's Kim Seol Hyun, Yoon Sun Woo, Yoon Gyung Ho, and Kim Tae Woo.
The actress made her acting debut in 2002. She has starred in several k-dramas such as V.I.P, Beautiful World, The Best Moment To Quit Your Job, Because This Is My First Life, Lucky Romance, Vampire Detective, Wonderful Mama, Flower Boy Ramen Shop, and more. She also appeared in films like Spring, Again, Bluebeard, Northern Limit Line, and Finding Mr. Destiny.
