Park Bo Young and GOT7's Park Jin Young are confirmed to star in Unknown Seoul!
Actor Lee Jung Hyun is confirmed to join the third season of New Recruit.
Lee Jung Hyun's agency confirmed on December 4 that the actor will return to New Recruit Season 3. He will work alongside actor Kim Ji Suk who will lead the upcoming K-drama.
New Recruit Season 3 will continue to narrate the story of the recruit who enlisted in an army where all kinds of people gather. He has to face good, bad, and weird personalities and get along with them. The story is based on the web animation of the same name by Jang Bbi Jju.
Director Min Jin Gi, known for his past works When the Devil Calls Your Name, Golden Tower, and Blue Tower, will also return to direct the new season. The upcoming K-drama will be produced by KT Studio Genie, A2G Entertainment, and Story Island.
According to reports, the season 3 has already begun filming.
Lee Jung Hyun also shared his thoughts on joining the new season, "I am honored to be able to continue working on a successful series. As always, I will do my best and contribute in the new season."
New Recruit Season 3 will premiere in the first half of 2025. It will exclusively air on the broadcast channel ENA.
Lee Jung Hyun has been with the K-drama ever since the beginning. He was part of both the first and two seasons.
This year, the actor starred in the JTBC K-drama My Military Valentine with Nam Gyu Ri, Kim Min Seok, Choi Hye Jin, Song Jae Rim, Steve Noh, and Jung Jin Woo.
He also made a special appearance in the SBS series The Escape of the Seven: Resurrection.
Lee Jung Hyun made his acting debut in 2015. He is known for being part of the K-dramas The Escape of the Seven: War for Survival, The Forbidden Marriage, Snowdrop, Alice, Mr. Sunshine, Three Kingdom Wars - Imjin War 1592, and more.
The actor will also star in the 2025 K-drama Shark 2: The Storm.
