The powerful chemistry of this unbelievably amazing cast, will set the entire story to a whole new level of expectations in terms of action and fantasy genres!

Kim Hee Sun as Goo Ryun
"I’m a grim reaper who saves people."
(Characters posters and quote source: Soompi)
"Goo Ryun appears to be ice-cold on the outside, but in fact she is a warm-hearted character who is tough enough to stand up to those who are powerful, yet kind enough to treat the weak with respect and care. Goo Ryun is defined by a fierce, intimidating aura in combination with a sorrowful feeling to her gaze that hints at the harsh obstacles this character goes through, which have earned her the nickname “the woman who came back from hell.” (Source: Soompi)
Kim Hee Sun described her character being a ‘tsundere,’ who has a double sided personality as,“she speaks straightforwardly and strongly to those who have given up on their lives so they can stand and be enlightened, but there is love and affection within that. Ryun’s heart knows to be considerate of others and that’s cool.”
When asked if she shares any similarities with her character, she mentioned, “We’re similar in that we both take care of people well, but we’re different in that unlike me, who likes socializing with people, she doesn’t keep anyone close to her. Ryun is a grim reaper that saves people. She is a completely different grim reaper than what you have seen before. I hope that you will cheer on and watch Ryun, ‘maverick of the grim reapers,’ save people together with Joomadeung‘s Crisis Management Team and Ryunggu.” (Second source: here)
Rowoon as Choi Joon Woong
“Thank you. For enduring…and not giving up.”
(Characters posters and quote source: Soompi)
Rowoon revealed that main reason he's been so drawn to “Tomorrow” was because he wanted to fully absorb the message of the story while acting in it. “I feel like if I focus on the message of the drama, that meaningful message will also remain with me,” he said, “so I try to focus more on the essence of the story than results. In that respect, I think ‘Tomorrow’ will be a drama that gives me comfort as well.
He added a few details about his character: "Joon Woong is an ordinary character, but he has many sentimental aspects. There are times when an incident arises because of that, but the character’s appeal is that even though he’s still immature and clumsy, he has a warm heart.
Asked if he sees similarities to his real-life personality, Rowoon said something surprising, “In order to fully melt into the character and show a good acting performance, I’m currently acting while thinking that our level of similarity is 0 percent.” The young actor also revealed that because of the fun and relaxed atmosphere on the filming set, the cast often came up with amusing ad libs on the spot." "Due to an unforeseen accident, he falls into a coma and becomes neither dead nor alive. In the meantime, he finally achieves his dream of getting his first job, but in the underworld. Although Choi Joon Woong is a curious and nosy person by nature, he brings change to the Crisis Management Team with his warm and caring personality." (Second source: here)
Lee Soo Hyuk as Park Joong Gil
“I don’t understand why we need the Crisis Management Team."
(Characters posters and quote source: Soompi)
"Park Joong Gil is the ice-cold character who believes firmly in respecting the set rules. As a result, he is unhappy with the Crisis Management Team’s work of trying to save those who wish to die, and he is always clashing with Goo Ryun and her team. Lee Soo Hyuk is shrouded into a dark aura as the powerful and intimidating Park Joong Gil having one stylish black suit with not a hair out of place, thus he also is a perfectionist to the core." (Source: Soompi)
Lee Soo Hyuk personally commented a few things, “I’m aiming for 100 percent synchronization. I’m thankful for the positive responses after the photos were released, but at the same time, I feel the responsibility. I hope that the positive responses will continue even after the drama is released. Through the grim reaper Park Joong Gil, who has cold and dark traits, I think I can effectively show viewers my charms and image.
Since the webtoon itself is such a popular work, I’m focusing on effectively implementing its content. In particular, Park Joong Gil is someone who has conflict with the Crisis Management Team, so I’m trying to act restrained to maintain his tension. While turning [the webtoon] into a drama, the character’s personality and circumstances have changed. I hope that viewers will be able to keep an eye on the new things the directors, writer, and I are making.” (Second source: here)
Yoon Ji On as Lim Ryoong Goo
“We’re going to be punished anyway, so let’s at least make good results.”
(Characters posters and quote source: Soompi)
"Lim Ryoong Goo is a humorous and energetic grim reaper who always makes sure to clock out of work after exactly eight hours, keeping his work-life balance always in check. He is an ideologist who resolves the messy incidents that Goo Ryun and Choi Joon Woong create. His charm draws attention along with his hip hairstyle and trendy outfit. Wearing a denim shirt with a brown collar, a leather jacket, and a chain necklace as he exudes a chicness that's quite rare to see in a grim reaper. But this character can easily pull off even a poker face with firmness and also being able to slightly frown. But a weird aspect is he doesn’t show any clear emotions, since even as he losses his breath, he still remains calm." (Source: Soompi)
