Hello MDL readers!    This is my first article, so please bear with me ( ๑ •́ω•̀)

Recently, I've been watching a lot of K-dramas from the early 2010s, and I was constantly thinking about how bad their hairstyles were. I mustered up the courage to make an article on the topic.

Before you start reading, please keep in mind that these are just my opinions, and it isn't my intension to offend or upset anyone.

The article is easier to read in light mode.

This is a classic example of an awful hairstyle. As much as I love him, I have to admit that this perm made me cringe so hard. The black curls were a big fashion disaster. Although his hairstyle helped convey the character, it just didn't look good. My friend even skipped the drama just because of it.

His trademark is his curly hair. Close up, it's pretty impressive, that curl! I think we were meant to hate it, as we were meant to dislike Joon Pyo. ~(>_<~)

The least expected look on this handsome face, at least we didn't have to see it for long. The hair was required to show his transformation, but... seeing his opening scene with this hairstyle was a bit shocking.

Even Lee Jong Suk himself thought it was questionable. At a press conference back in 2014 he expressed his feelings toward the hairstyle, saying "it was uglier than I had imagined". He also mentioned how stressful it was wearing the wig during shoots as it ruined his real hair.

I like to call this one the mop because, I mean... just look at it (⁀ᗢ⁀)~ Okay, the hair does make sense considering the character’s background. I can't help but laugh a little, it’s just like wearing a mop on your head. At least it made for a drastic transformation later on.

No, but Kim Soo Hyun would definitely be able to pull this off if it were styled properly. I have to also mention how adorable his smile is in that gif!

How could this hairstyle even be acceptable in a drama? At least the jet black colour is still alright. Although it was only used for a short time in the drama, I personally really disliked it.

It displayed what best friends can do for each other, even if that's wearing a terrible hairstyle together :) It is sweet, I can't argue with that.

At first, I hated this hairstyle, but as the show progressed, it grew on me, and I began to like it. It's kind of cute! This was another hairstyle used for a character transformation.

To be honest, I liked both hairstyles Hye Jin had. I wasn't initially going to put this on the list, but my friend insisted I should, so here we are!
