Ryu Jun Yeol and Han So Hee will reportedly lead a new K-drama by "The Face Reader" director

Ryu Jun Yeol will reportedly join Han So Hee in the upcoming K-drama Delusion. 

On March 6, media outlets reported that Ryu Jun Yeol will have another project with director Han Jae Rim. According to reports, Ryu Jun Yeol will be joining Han So Hee in leading the upcoming webtoon-based K-drama Delusion. 

Ryu Jun Yeol's agency CJES Entertainment shared their side regarding the reports. According to them, "Ryu Jun Yeol received the offer to star in Delusion and he is currently reviewing it." 

Delusion will be the second K-drama project of director Han Jae Rim. He is known for creating the hit movies The Face Reader, Emergency Declaration, The King, and more. 

The upcoming K-drama will base its story on a webtoon of the same name by Hongjacga that was serialized on Naver in 2019. It will tell the story of a poor painter who was commissioned to draw a vampire woman in the background of Gyeongseong in 1935. 

According to reports, Ryu Jun Yeol got the offer to star as the painter of the upcoming K-drama. 

Delusion will reportedly be produced as a K-drama and it is currently in discussion to be released through an OTT platform. 

If Ryu Jun Yeol confirms his casting, this will be his third project with director Han Jae Rim. The two previously worked in the 2017 hit movie The King. Ryu Jun Yeol will also be one of the main leads of director Han Jae Rim's first-ever K-drama titled The 8 Show. 

The 8 Show will also be the grand comeback of Ryu Jun Yeol to the K-drama scene. He will be working with Chun Woo Hee, Park Jeong Min, Lee Yeol Eum, Park Hae Joon, and Lee Joo Young.

Ryu Jun Yeol will also star in the upcoming movie The Book of Revelation. 

Early this year, Ryu Jun Yeol led the movie Alienoid: Return to the Future with Kim Tae Ri, Kim Woo Bin, Lee Ha Nee, Yeom Jung Ah, and Jo Woo Jin.
