| Soju: I wasn’t surprised by the outcome of the ranking. After reading Cho Na’s articles on male actors, I thoroughly believed in the power of BL and its audience on MDL. It is understandable that there are various factors affecting the popularity and exposure of celebrities in different places. I think the message that I will take away from this experience is to not focus on how my favourite actresses are ranked somewhere but to instead focus on the quality of work they are getting and presenting to me and their audience. | Burcu: The list actually really surprised me. I thought it would be different. One thing that I learned is that because Thai Dramas (Lakorns) are still underrated to the international audience, many popular Thai actors and actresses who only act in Lakorns got fewer hearts on MDL. Thai BL dramas, on the other hand, are really popular among most MDL'ers which results in the lead actors and also supporting actors and actresses of BL dramas having more hearts than Lakorn actors. This is the exact thing which surprised me most.
