'When the Phone Rings' concludes on high note, 'When the Stars Gossip' premieres with strong ratings
When the Phone Rings OST sung by BTOB member Im Hyun Sik has entered the Billboard chart.
According to the latest chart released by Billboard (dated January 4), Im Hyun Sik's "See The Light," Part 1 of the OST for When the Phone Rings, ranked 10th on Billboard's World Digital Song Sales chart.
Released on November 30 last year, "See The Light" was played in key scenes of the drama. Since its premiere, When the Phone Rings has dominated rankings and buzz metrics across platforms, including the OTT giant Netflix. The OST achieved a remarkable feat, climbing to the TOP 10 list just one month after its release.
In addition to "See The Light," other OST tracks, such as Wheein's "I Feel It Now" released last week, Im Yeon's "Breathe," and Suran's "Hear Me Out", among others, have also garnered love and attention both domestically and internationally.
When the Phone Rings centers around a couple — Baek Sa Eon (Yoo Yeon Seok) and Hong Hui Ju (Chae Soo Bin) — in their third year of arranged marriage. Despite being together for three years, the duo's relationship has been cold. They would have continued living as usual had it not been for a threatening phone call blackmailing Baek Sa Eon with Hong Hui Ju's life in danger.
When the Phone Rings will air its final episode, Episode 12, on January 4. The K-drama is available to stream on Netflix.
