"Work Later, Drink Now" confirms the start of filming for the second season!

"Work Later, Drink Now Season 2" is confirmed to begin filming.

On July 7th TVING released photos of the main cast of the upcoming second season of "Work Later, Drink Now." It was also revealed that the production will start filming for the series. 

The main casts of the series consisting of APINK's Jung Eun Ji, Secret's Han Sun Hwa, Lee Sun Bin, and Super Junior's Choi Si Won took a photo of their reunion ahead of their filming. In the photo, Lee Sun Bin and Choi Si Won who are connected in the drama sat together and had the same pose while Jung Eun Ji and Han Sun Hwa shared their bright smile. 

"Work Later, Drink Now Season 2" will continue narrating the life and friendship of three best friends of the same age who enjoys drinking. The series based its story on the webtoon "Sooldo Girl" (술꾼도시처녀들) by Mi Kkang.

Just like the first season, director Kim Jung Shik and writer Wi So Young will be working together to create another masterpiece.

Lee Sun Bin will return as Ahn So Hee, a broadcast writer for a TV station. Han Sun Hwa will continue to play the role of Han Ji Yeon, the bubbly yoga instructor. Jung Eun Ji will portray the role of Ji Gu, the stony origami Youtuber. Lastly, Choi Si Won will be back as Kang Buk Gu, the director of a variety show and also the colleague of Ahn So Hee.
The first season of the drama became one of the best releases of TVING since its launch. The series also received an invite to the non-competitive category of the 2022 Cannes International Series Festival.

"Work Later, Drink Now Season 2" is set to premiere in the second half of the year. It will exclusively air on the OTT platform TVING. The first season became available to an international audience through the OTT platform OndemandKorea. Nothing has been revealed yet on where the second season will be internationally available.

The production team of "Work Later, Drink Now Season 2" commented on the start of the new season, "We are delighted to be working again with the main actors who have unchanging chemistry even after time has passed. As we begin filming, we will do our best to maintain the passion until the end so please look forward to our drama."

Because of the popularity of "Work Later, Drink Now," the main casts of the series received several offers from commercials, dramas, and more. They even led their own reality show titled "Work Later, Hike Now" where the three female friends experienced mountain climbing.
