All the drama's in this list I enjoyed for at least one reason or another. So save yourself the aimless scrolling while searching for a new show and have a look in my list. 1. Seen from a Distance, Green Spring
Korean Drama - 2021, 12 episodes
I love how the title of the drama is applicable to every character in the way that they aren't what they seem. I usually don't watch school or campus dramas, escpecially when I feel like there is a love triangle coming (there wasn't really one). But the characters are so well thought out that it manages to keep me on the edge of my seat like no school drama has ever done. I started watching it for Jihoon but it's completely won me over.
It's slightly dissapointing that they turned a 'bl' webtoon into a 'straight' drama but the chemistry between the female and male lead is actually really good in my eyes so it doesn't annoy me. I liked the way they handled the straight relationship and it didn't really take away from the relationship between the two guys. If you watch this bc you want bl you can easily imagine that Yeo Jun and Soo Hyun get together eventually.
Some say the drama dragged at certain points but I enjoyed the way they took time exploring every character.
(I haven't read the webtoon btw)

2. Doctor John
Korean Drama - 2019, 32 episodes
Only hospital drama I ever finished. I love Jisung the actor and his character really intrigued me right from the beginning.
-
3. When the Camellia Blooms
Korean Drama - 2019, 40 episodes
Making a drama around family bonds can get really boring, really quickly but 'When the Camelia blooms' manages to keep it very entertaining by telling an intruiging story with mystery and romance elements. That combined with the acting talent, makes this drama a must watch.

4. Healer
Korean Drama - 2014, 20 episodes
This was my favourite drama for a very long time. I have a soft spot for action and Ji Chang Wook so maybe I'm biased, but I loved this drama from start to finish. Also Park Minyoung is so good in this role that I didn't even realise she was in this drama lol.
-
5. Kill Me, Heal Me
Korean Drama - 2015, 20 episodes
Another drama that jisung KILLS. You can argue that it paints DID in a bad light but compared to other cases of bad representation I've seen, this isn't that bad. I don't have DID so I obviously don't know how realistic this is, but it was enjoyable none the less. It's clear that they did their best to do research and tried to respectfully cover the topic.
Also Park Seojun is in this, and he is always a win.
Conclusion :The concept is interesting and the drama is entertaining. Would recommend but keep in mind, it's just a drama.

6. Vincenzo
Korean Drama - 2021, 20 episodes
Just from a visual point alone this drama is a must. Right from the beginning you can see with how much care this drama was made. It was the first thing I saw Song Joongki in since descendants of the sun and he did not disappoint. Also features a member from 2pm. Taecyeon killed it!

7. Are You Human Too?
Korean Drama - 2018, 36 episodes
I watched this a while ago and it was one of those shows that left me stunned for a few days after finishing. The ending is meh but I remember being so obssesed with this while it was airing. I haven't seen it in a while so I don't remember what was so amazing but I rewachted this A LOT a the time.
Also Seo Kang Joon is in it so... ITS A YES FROM ME

8. You Who Came from the Stars
Korean Drama - 2013, 21 episodes
A classic, any kdrama fanatic has to watch this.
-
9. W
Korean Drama - 2016, 16 episodes
This is amazing and has a refreshing storyline that I really enjoyed. From the acting to the chemistry, this drama is almost perfect.
That is untill you get to the second half of the show lol. Idk why but for me this drama kinda fell off and I spent the last few episodes a little confused where the plot was going. That being said, this show is so good that even with that this is still a drama I would 100% reccommend people.

10. Haechi
Korean Drama - 2019, 48 episodes
This drama is loooooong and due to an injury, the female lead is absent for a while halfway thru the drama. That combined with the fact that it's a historical drama that mainly deals with politics gives it all the elements of a really boring show. But from the acting to the storyline. I loved this drama and it is one of the only kdramas with nearly 50 episodes that I actually finished.

11. Kingdom
Korean Drama - 2019, 6 episodes
Korea really does zombie content better than any other country. I'm about to start season 2 and the trailer for season 3 is about to come out. So I'd recommend hurrying up and getting on board. I have a weakness for power struggles in shows so that combined with zombies and a great cast makes Kingdom a great show!
-
12. Gu Family Book
Korean Drama - 2013, 24 episodes
I love Lee Seunggi and started watching for him. I don't know why I liked this as much as I did but I finished this concerningly quick. Also who doesn't love an underdog. The first few episodes were a bit of a drag but I loved it after that.
-

Korean Drama - 2020, 10 episodes
Another show that just proves that Korea does the Zombie/monster genre shows better.
-
15. 18 Again
Korean Drama - 2020, 16 episodes
It's based on that movie with Zac Efron '17 again'. And I remember seeing that movie and thinking that there are so many things you can do with that concept. So hearing that there is a full drama with the same concept, EXCITED ME. I would honestly go as far as to say that this fixed everything that annoyed me about the movie while still keeping the elements I enjoy.
And for anyone that saw the movie, NO INCEST HERE!
Safe to say it lived upto my expectations and delivered.

16. Hotel del Luna
Korean Drama - 2019, 16 episodes
this is iconic and a must watch. I would explain why it's good but honestly it would take too long. JUST WATCH YOU WON'T REGRET IT.
Although someone did point out to me that the love storyline is basically a case of stockholm syndrome so just take that with a grain of salt.
-
17. Haar Privéleven
Korean Drama - 2019, 16 episodes
This is an enemies to lovers done right. This is a love triangle done right.
Both of those tropes really annoy me when done badly. A bad love triangle can just make me hate everyone involved. But her private life handles them in an amazing way. This drama is about adults and I apreciate that they all act their age. In love triangles, characters often start acting really childish in ways a regular person just wouldn't do. But her private life is brilliant in that aspect.
Also, as a fangirl I appreciated the non-toxic representation.

18. He is Psychometric
Korean Drama - 2019, 16 episodes
The concept of him being able to touch objects and see their 'memories' is enough to make this a very intruiging drama that is worth the watch.
-
19. Hit the Top
Korean Drama - 2017, 32 episodes
I have a soft spot for Yoon Si Yoon and Cha Taehyun and started watching for them and they did not dissapoint!
-
20. Introverted Boss
Korean Drama - 2017, 16 episodes
This is a cute show that's easy to watch and the ML is adorable. The FL teeters on the edge of annoying at times, but this is a very enjoyable watch for anyone who's looking for a cute, quick office romance to watch.
