1. Terius Behind Me
Korean Drama - 2018, 32 episodes
Terius Behind Me is a comedic spy drama. Widow with 2 kids + international spy-in-hiding babysitter is a great recipe for hilarious wholesomeness. The neighborhood + kids are also adorable and put to fun spy use! A nice non heavy drama to fill your days. My favorite part is how they quietly weave the leads' grief into the story and their friendship/budding romance. - u/litoxpinky

2. Drama Special Season 9: Miss Kim's Mystery
Korean Special - 2018, 1 episode
This drama special is a quick and easy watch for those needing a little bit more spy hijinx in their day. It's an adorable rom-com which will have you laughing along with the leads as the drama somehow manages to both be adequately trope filled yet pokes its tongue out at the tropes that fill it. It also features an abundance of cats which some will find pleasing. - u/sianiam

3. Vagabond
Korean Drama - 2019, 16 episodes
Vagabond obviously. Largely takes place in NIS. Half of the characters are spies including the FL. It's a globetrotting truth uncovering adventure. Many scenes were filmed in Morocco and Europe on location, hence there is an espionage feel to it. - u/RayInRed

4. Healer
Korean Drama - 2014, 20 episodes
Healer! Hands down this drama for its well-written plot. The action, thrill and suspense in each episode got me hooked. It's also well-balanced with humour. You get really attached to the characters, including the supporting cast.
It's starring Ji Chang Wook and Park Min Young, and they have great chemistry. I also think this is JCW's best work despite watching most of his works. - u/txcjl

5. Man to Man
Korean Drama - 2017, 16 episodes
Man to Man - Agent K is assigned to act undercover as a bodyguard for a film star, solely because the star is invited to Russia for a party. Great bromance develops. There is a romance of sorts, too. - u/LcLou02

6. Time Between Dog and Wolf
Korean Drama - 2007, 16 episodes
Time Between Dog and Wolf - Lee So Hyun spent his early years in Thailand, but that comes to an abrupt halt when he witnesses his mother's liquidation. He is then adopted into the family of a SK based NIS agent. So Hyun and the other son become NIS agents, themselves. During one of his jobs, So Hyun sees the man who had killed his mother. He seeks to infiltrate his drug cartel and catch the killer. With young Lee Joon Gi and Jung Kyung Ho. Highly recommended! It may be older, but it aged very well. - u/LcLou02

7. The Spy Who Loved Me
Korean Drama - 2020, 16 episodes
The Spies Who Loved Me - Yoo In Na is adorable as a wedding dress designer whose first husband was an irresponsible travel book author (or so she thought) and wasn't home very much. After their divorce, she met and married a doting diplomat (or so she thinks) . She gets caught up in their secret world, due to a mysterious death. Humour, romance, pretty dresses, and spy stuff. - u/LcLou02

8. Bos
Korean Drama - 2020, 32 episodes
In the drama Forest, the ML (Park Hae Jin) goes undercover as part of a rescue team in order to perform corporate espionage. He encounters a doctor (Jo Bo Ah) who has been banished to the dreamy misty hinterlands, and romance ensues—let’s just say their interaction with a stethoscope is to die for. - u/basta_cosi

9. Noodlanding op jou
Korean Drama - 2019, 16 episodes
Crash Landing on You - The premise of the show is that a South Korean chaebol ends up stranded in North Korea and is aided by a North Korean soldier and his subordinates. One of the side characters, called The Rat, is seen listening in on their conversations and reporting on them for an elite North Korean officer intent on finding out the truth and gaining leverage. The chemistry between the two leads as well as the bromances depicted on screen make this a loveable drama. - u/PatronSaintofWords

10. Chicago Typewriter
Korean Drama - 2017, 16 episodes
Chicago Typewriter - ML, FL and SML in their past lives are spies who work against the Japanese Occupation. This is a fantasy romance drama that deals with the reincarnation aspect. It's a bit slow paced but once past the 6 episode mark it only keeps getting better. Loved the cinematography, soundtrack and the bonding between the three main leads. - u/Fatooz

11. City Hunter
Korean Drama - 2011, 20 episodes
City Hunter - ML wants to take revenge on the 5 people who are responsible for the unfair death of his father. He works as a spy in the Blue House in the international communications team. This is a nice action crime thriller with minimal romance. It's good for its time and though a few themes might feel problematic, do know that its a 2011 drama. I personally thought this was Lee Min-Ho's best works and he completely suited the character. - u/Fatooz

12. Love in the Moonlight
Korean Drama - 2016, 18 episodes
Love in the Moonlight - One of the main characters is a spy working in the palace that leaks important information outside the palace. It's a lighthearted and cute rom-com along with little palace politics. It's pretty light on the spy aspect though. - u/Fatooz
