Legend of Fei - a fun wuxia adventure about friendship and family. It has a plot that drags at times but the character interactions are very well-written and even the minor characters are intriguing. The fight scenes are pretty good as well. - u/jasally

Legend of Fu Yao you can safely say is first and foremost a romance. However, it is also action heavy, with huge battle scenes. Even the low-key fight scenes are original, such as a water “fight” between the leads. It’s on the longer side at 66 episodes, but I loved every minute of it. - u/TVAddict4

The Ingenious One - a wuxia story about revenge and making amends. There are plenty of episodes that go by without much fighting but there are a few fights that are just breathtaking. The romance feels a bit forced but I enjoyed watching the ML grow to care about the people around him. - u/jasally

When you say action, the first thing I think of is Longest Day in Chang’an. If the American series 24 were set in Tang Dynasty on the eve of the lantern festival, you’d have LDIC. Action packed with breathers for deep dive character development. A stunning production. - u/Previous_Throat6360
