Sentai series I've finished

Got way more out of Touma, Tsukasa and Gouche this time around and was incredibly satisfying to compare the outlaw vs law enforcer conflict that Komura and Arakawa worked back in Gokaiger

Phenomenal, very calm and less bombastic than other seasons but it allows all the characters feel more intimate and how human is what the Rangers are fighting and that it is a tangible danger they could end up the same, even after the climax of the story.

Emotional story about obsessing with a goal at the expense of one's youth and how we should appreciate every second we're alive

Not the super dark show some people think it is, since the showa era did the same things it did since the begining, but the execution makes the difference, as well as the inner conflict of the cast, as well as it's villains carry the show as a whole

It starts alright and then it starts hitting the emotions HARD

It places emphazis on Sentai teams being sort of public servants/friends of the comunity by having the past teams trying to do their best in a crisis situation by rebuilding or providing with their civilian skills as the Gokaigers doing their new way of service by being themselves no matter what.
Also the different writters respect continuity, so despite many episodes being more prior creatives expressing themselves once again, there is a sense of progression in the story telling and Komura Junko filled in Kobayashi for her teams and you can see that her work as the 2nd most prominent writter after Arakawa in this show made her grow (and take a few notes for LuPat)

Hype series that's great in every area

The dynamics between the rangers and Buddyroids sold me early on, plus the focus on a military force/best mecha fights in the franchise/Kobayashi's excellent character writting.
Exactly what I wanted out of Sentai

Loved Yamato and how his conflict was quite grounded and personal to match the higher stakes of the finale

I got more stuff from Yodon as the show's antithesis: Creation without emotion or companionship, since Garza and Crunchula are defined by their artistic drive and are very much prone to emotional outbursts, which Yodon goes to great lengths to cut off from himself

Really loved the style and how it uses the lack of tension all the way up to the finale, which reminded me of Zyuranger and Timeranger's sense that there is something that's going to change no matter what and how the characters take it. Momoi Tarou the GOAT.

Really liked how the Psyma had such shity relationships to their mother, yet theywere still beholden to her or her goals to the very end, while the Tatsumi siblings had a strained relationship with their father, but it was a genuine bond that they fixed back

Loved the exploration of sacrifice from both sides of the conflict

Fun ride that maximizes the emotional moments with simple but entertaining characters, while also being very crackhead about it

Big scale story where everything clicked

Great team with bonkers comedy that delivers up to it's last minute

Great martial arts Sentai that start slow but gets exciting as it goes

Really fun show, slightly below Dairanger, but this show had toku Char Aznable

The perfect "child of the week" show with a good balance of focus on the kids, an incredibly endearing show

Great show with a good message about power and uncertainty, specially in the last stretch

Dangan Ronpa meets Super Sentai

FUCK YEAH the Sentai series

Wholesome show with engaging episodes and a last hurrah for Soda as headwritter

BONKERS series that has some neat rangers and touching moments

Really liked the final narration about the Bioman and how it contrasted with Dr Man's ultimate desire of being remembered, and how it connected with his achievements and failings

While there wasn't a character I loved they all contributed to the larger story of an empire taking on the worst aspects of it's ruler trying to free themselves of his shackles

Fun but definetly the least interesting cop Sentai despite being the one that focuses the most on that aspect, Jasmine gets the best episodes consistently

Enjoyable but not as visceral like the other martial arts Sentai that came before it

Interesting ideas but I think this would've benefited by having been made in the 90's since it feels like proto Dairanger-Megaranger-Gekiranger

First dip into fantasy Sentai did, with a more "kid of the week" structure and an easy to like cast, not to mention Hedrian as an antagonist, making it a very good show

Comfy show with a nice makeshift family dynamic the cast had

Nice love letter to Soda's era of Sentai

Enjoyable but it ranged between episodes and I wasn't that attached to the characters nor larger themes

Quite the entertaining show despite not doing much with the origin of the Baranoia, also the first 8 episodes aren't the darkest part of the show by a long shot, nor the best ones

Overhated as fuck, tho I wish Kyuemon's character had been more emphasized earlier in the show

Kind of mildly interesting for a big chunk then it stars to shake things up with the final stretch being quite good

Fun at times but not too into the big reveal of the final stretch

Fun show, liked the mascot ranger dynamic, not as much as in Abaranger, but there were a lot

It tried to do way too much within each episode but it kinda falls at places, despite me liking the character dynamics over one character focused episodes

Not as bad as people think, quite comfy at times

Gave me Ryusoulger vibes but it was more solid without the higher highs

Unfortunately a show that stretches in too many areas that nothing gets t shine as it should, with little time to appreciate the shot composition or the action scenes

Fun show with entertaining scenarios that gets a bad rep for no reason

Had a better time on a rewatch and a more slower paced binge also helped

A return to the military aestethic that makes it a step down to Denziman, but on the other hand a solid main villain and a conclusion to Hedrian from the previous show
