    1. Vreemdelingen uit hel

    Korean Drama - 2019, 10 episodes

Strangers From Hell -  If you're looking for your scary Halloween drama, this is the one.  Im Si Wan plays this kid who moves from the country to Seoul after his military service. His college friend gets him an internship at his company and he moves into this crappy but affordable goshiwon.  The people who live in that building are weird, particularly Lee Dong Wook the creepy-eyed dentist, and Im Si Wan does an exceptional job portraying his fear, anxiety, and anger as he deals with so many frustrating people.  - u/pvtshame

  • The Guest

    2. The Guest

    Korean Drama - 2018, 16 episodes

The first ep of The Guest is nightmare inducing though (really perfect for a late summer night or Halloween), but after that it's quite tame. - u/Elena233

The Guest is my number one recommended spooky drama! i came for the eerie atmosphere and demon possessions and stayed for the wonderful characters - highly recommended.  - u/aintitnifty

The Guest- very terrifying!!! But loved how the actors were able to pull it off! Had nightmares because of this huhuhuhu - u/dazzlingbunny

  • The Master's Sun

    3. The Master's Sun

    Korean Drama - 2013, 17 episodes

The Master’s Sun is spooky, but not too scary. It is about ghosts and resolving mysteries from the time while those ghosts were alive. - u/kiyatylese

The Master’s Sun - good for Halloween; a little on the fluffier side - u/weezyah

The Master's Sun -  Although the main characters remain the same and the romance is carried onward, each episode has different "ghosts", sort of new stories about them.  So the drama doesn't grow stale.  I found this to be funny and spooky at the same time. - u/alisaamandawho

    Master's Sun - I couldn't even watch it at night. - u/PuddingUnited3004

  • Oh My Ghostess

    4. Oh My Ghostess

    Korean Drama - 2015, 16 episodes

I love “Master’s Sun,” “ Oh, My Ghostess,” and Strong Woman Do Bong Soon for some slightly spooky romantic comedies for Halloween!   ? ?  - u/ShayeAnne

  • Bring It On, Ghost

    5. Bring It On, Ghost

    Korean Drama - 2016, 16 episodes

Bring It On Ghost - It depends what is scary for you. There are silly, grotty ghosts who do pop up in ghosty, macabre ways, but they're completely unconvincing. However, they are intended to shock. There's some creepy flashbacks to child abuse. And the antagonist is a demon, who must do their threatening demon thing at some point. But it has plenty of action, in which two adorable cuties who are starting to like each other whomp on the ghosts, and vanquish them pretty easily. Lots of cute romance and cohabitation, because a ghost girl feels lonely stuck haunting her school! I don't remember any women in fridges, although the ML lost his parents to the antagonist, I seem to remember. - u/amnesiafakedating

  • Arang and the Magistrate

    6. Arang and the Magistrate

    Korean Drama - 2012, 20 episodes

Arang and the Magistrate - is one of my very favorites of all time. Lots of weird and scary supernatural elements, a cute romance and great action. - u/ArielSquirrel

  • Nightmare Teacher

    7. Nightmare Teacher

    Korean Drama - 2016, 12 episodes

Nightmare High / Nightmare Teacher - It's about a school class that gets a sketchy substitute teacher who grants the students their most desired wish, but the item / wish they've got granted becomes their demise. - u/NoiseComplaint57

  • Drama Special Series Season 1: White Christmas

    8. Drama Special Series Season 1: White Christmas

    Korean Special - 2011, 8 episodes

White Christmas (2011). It’s an 8 episode series and it’s pretty dark and spooky but intense and sooo good - TW: murder and suicide - u/avacadolamb

  • The Cursed

    9. The Cursed

    Korean Drama - 2020, 12 episodes

The Cursed is super scary -- psychological dread scary. And there's all this stuff about shamanism that is totally mindblowing. I loved it, but got so anxious I had to skip the last couple of episodes and watch the end. But I still recommend it, and thank u/jarnumber for telling me about it! Evil Sung Dong Il is TO DIE FOR!!! - u/amnesiafakedating

The Cursed - underrated and keeps the terrifying feeling continuous but not overwhelming. - u/real_highlight_reel

  • Kingdom

    10. Kingdom

    Korean Drama - 2019, 6 episodes

Kingdom is 100% worth watching but I did find it scary. Keep in mind that I can’t even watch The Walking Dead because I find that too scary. Kingdom isn’t so much about jump scares as it is about a constant feeling of dread as you’re waiting for the inevitable moment when the zombies will “awaken” and there’s lots of chasing, biting, decapitating, etc. - u/setlib

Kingdom -I didn’t find it that scary, you get used to the sounds of the zombies so they didn’t scare me that much. There was only one specific time I remember jumping, but overall not many jump scares. There is a lot of tense moments and suspense though. I highly recommend watching it, the acting, production and storyline are all really great. - u/sleepyysquid

  • Come and Hug Me

    11. Come and Hug Me

    Korean Drama - 2018, 32 episodes

Come and Hug Me: Idiotic name choice for a fantastic heavyweight series about a scary-as-f*ck serial killer, and how his way of living affects his kids into adulthood. They really got it right when it comes to the psyche of the psychopath, especially his feeling of complete ownership of his family (speaking from personal experience). The actor who plays the serial killer is waaaaay too convincing.  - u/stellamarisetal

Come and Hug Me - It’s not necessarily scary but it is definitely unsettling and keeps you on edge throughout the whole drama! It’s one of my favorites!! - u/go-kyungpyo

  • Flower of Evil

    12. Flower of Evil

    Korean Drama - 2020, 16 episodes

Flower of Evil also fits in there. It’s got an amazing thriller aspect and the serial killer is definitely scary. Much more scarier than the serial killer in Come and Hug Me. FoE keeps you on edge of your seat and this is one of those dramas that don’t have fillers, it keeps you hooked from the 1st episode itself.  - u/Fatooz

  • Save Me

    13. Save Me

    Korean Drama - 2017, 16 episodes

The Guest and Save Me are the two creepiest dramas I've probably ever seen. I love Save Me a lot, but it really creeped me out and made my skin crawl at times. It's a great thriller!  - u/bren24

Save Me!- a psychological thriller! I was so immersed with the story that I found myself saying "Save Me" as well. I think this one's perfect for halloween with its spine chilling story revolving around a cult. - u/dazzlingbunny

  • The Village: Achiara's Secret

    14. The Village: Achiara's Secret

    Korean Drama - 2015, 16 episodes

I recommend The Village: Achiara's Secret. It's dark, scary, atmospheric with a great story.  - u/ThisFatGirlRuns

  • Trap

    15. Trap

    Korean Drama - 2019, 7 episodes

Trap’s not outright scary, but it’s really dark and spooky, like a thriller/semi horror. - u/Big-Main

  • Priest

    16. Priest

    Korean Drama - 2018, 16 episodes

I love Priest and I watched this several times. I love to recomend this title for thrillers, action thrillers, creepy, supernatural thrillers. - u/MenthaAquatica

  • Possessed

    17. Possessed

    Korean Drama - 2019, 16 episodes

Possessed - Dont let the begining fool you. This gets dark.  So much so that I would suggest getting a collection of cute animal pics and vids to look at after its finished to bring some joy back into your life because this show will rip your soul apart. - u/krm787

  • Goedam

    18. Goedam

    Korean Drama - 2020, 8 episodes

I just watched Goedam a short film K-Horror series on Netflix and thought it might be worth recommending for those of you who like horror (especially the likes of J and K horror!)

The series is made up of 8 short films that only last around 5-10 minutes each and are based on urban legends. They are pretty spooky too! I won't spoil anything but PLEASE be aware that it is a mature show with lots of graphic, scary scenes however if you're like me who loves a bit of asian horror, it's a really good series! - u/mysteryindorkorated

  • Hotel del Luna

    19. Hotel del Luna

    Korean Drama - 2019, 16 episodes

I love the mystical elements and, for the most part, the scary parts aren't really that scary for someone like me who is NOT a fan of horror.  - u/MajesticWorld19

  • Black

    20. Black

    Korean Drama - 2017, 18 episodes

I really recommend Black. I loved the show and the plot was awesome. I got attached to the characters already in the first episode, and when the first episode was over i was dying to know what would happen. If you like the "spooky" and a little action then i suggest you go with black :) - u/kookaiine

  • The Ghost Detective

    23. The Ghost Detective

    Korean Drama - 2018, 32 episodes

The Ghost Detective - I’ve heard many different opinions but I personally really enjoyed it. The story was intriguing, and the horror elements were good (at least for me, someone who hates scary things). No romance tag, and it’s never made explicit, but the respect and love the leads have for each other is fantastic. Also, an incredibly lovable supporting character by Kim Won-Hae. - u/roevese

  • Gumiho: Tale of the Fox's Child

    24. Gumiho: Tale of the Fox's Child

    Korean Drama - 2010, 16 episodes

Grudge: The Revolt of Gumiho is a must watch, dark and mature drama. One of my favorite dramas and I normally not into historic or fantasy dramas. but this one has it all. Some real creepy moments, not even the kids in this drama can escape the dark creepy moments in here  - u/LaughingGor108

  • A Korean Odyssey

    25. A Korean Odyssey

    Korean Drama - 2017, 20 episodes

A Korean Odyssey. It definitely deals heavily with the afterlife matters. Also the ML is some sort of a deity. Definitely has the ghosts part and the spooky element. A fit for the spooky season.  - u/Fatooz

    26. Memorist

  • The Story of Gumiho

    29. The Story of Gumiho

    Korean Drama - 2020, 16 episodes

Currently airing (will not complete in time for Halloween)

Tale of Gumiho is chalking up to be an amazing fall/Halloween drama - so I suggest checking out at least the first two episodes or so - u/k_llama_llama

Tale of the Nine-Tailed - A bit of a spooky drama right on time for october! I love the pacing, sudden twists and turns, pretty great graphics, and how charismatic the antagonists are. Like seriously, they bounce right off the screen. I'm excited to see what the writers have in store for us. - u/definitelynotrockie

Tale of the Nine-Tailed - It’s got some spooky elements, elements of the after life, the evil side of the Gumihos, and with the recent episodes it definitely is a fit for the Spooky season.  - u/Fatooz

  • Pegasus Market

    30. Pegasus Market

    Korean Drama - 2019, 12 episodes

    Halloween Episode/Scenes (episode 7)

Pegasus Market - I loved the Korean themed Halloween, nationalist that I am. Why should everyone follow the US themes, world gets so much more boring when all is the same everywhere. - u/the-other-otter
