my favourites, my beloveds

no story has ever made me feel as many feelings as this one did. i wish i was better with words so i could properly express how much this means to me. this is absolutely my number one favourite kdrama and i don't think it's ever going to change. so profound, so romantic, so tragic yet so beautiful. i loved everything about it and it will truly stay with me, in my heart, forever <3

my two loves, xiao lanhua and dongfang qingcang, i love you with my entire being. will remain in my heart forever and ever and ever and ever. have never seen two people more in love than them. genuinely, stories that portray love as something greater than life will always be my favourite. they went through so much for each other my babies i am crying even thinking about it, what do i do. they are just so in love with each other, so in love :(

an excellent journey and i am soso glad i took it with my beloveds my loves the best characters i had the pleasure of knowing! the destination is very painful, as i still randomly burst into tears whenever i think of them, but i don’t regret it at all. i love it so much!! so incredibly much. my beloved girls and my silly little guys you are loved and will be missed. it broke my heart like nothing ever did, but still, i can’t put into words how much i love this. which, for me, is always a sign that something has become a favourite of mine <3

i think this has my favourite portrayal of falling in love. the way they were both each other's comfort, the way they were both able to heal and slowly gain strength from one another, the way they were able to sleep soundly when together. they were putting more and more things inside that sad empty house, not knowing it would become a place of great comfort to both of them, a home for both of them. genuinely beautiful, i love love so much <3

a whole masterpiece

and i will never stop speaking about my beloved yunmeng siblings :( <3 for me, they are the best part of the drama (and also the reason why i don't think this has a happy ending because no it doesn't, i am still hurting). nothing comes close to their story and bond and i will forever and ever long for a happier ending for them. i'd die for all three of them, my cuties my loves my beloveds :( also yi city arc best arc!!!

everyone involved in this drama is the sweetest human being ever for creating something so soft and lovely and girly and sweet and kind, i love people so much

looking back at it,  i probably wouldn't have enjoyed it as much if i watched it now, but it was my very first kdrama and i loved it so much at the time, so i am grateful <3
