I'll go for the super low-hanging fruit and add The Legend of Shen Li - It's quite refreshing to have "older" (mid-30s) leads acting their age. Even as a chicken, FL isn't infantilized and still has her smarts and maturity about her.

And this drama is very low on stupid stuff. We may not agree with some of the characters' decisions, but they are in character and reasonable.

Another unique plus here is the comedic side of things. A lot of it is super silly, yet somehow still manages to mix together well with the more serious parts. - u/eidisi
