1. The Antique
Japanese Movie - 2018
I like the story and the pacing but the sequence of events was sometimes all over the place and made it off-putting (at times), but really loved how they weaved together the past and present. The ending could have been better though. I like the last quote "My existence lies with you" it's very poetic, sad but promising. I don't know if I'd recommend it, but watch if you're feeling low on a cold day (January)

2. Until I Meet September's Love
Japanese Movie - 2019
I love the actors, but I was bored. The first half was ok and I was bored during the second half. I liked the trailer more than the actual movie. Don't think I'd recommend it although I love the actors (January)

3. Parallel World Love Story
Japanese Movie - 2019
I was BORED out of my mind. They technically revealed the "secret" in the beginning and the sequence made no sense (most of the time). It took me a day and a half to watch because I started and thought I was just so tired that's why I wasn't enjoying. I went to sleep, woke up, read a book, came back and the story was just not to my liking. I can't even say the acting was bad, it was just the story. The only thing that fit was the "Parallel World" part there was no love story. I wasn't even looking for romance and the "attack almost assault" part was not cute. I gave it a 5 because the actors tried with the material they were given. I stayed because I wanted them to make it make sense. (January)

4. The Blue Hour
Thai Movie - 2015
I was hesitant to watch because I kept seeing others say it was confusing and they had to watch in more than once to FULLY grasp the movie/concept. Which is understandable, I'm happy I read the review theories before I started? I enjoyed the movie Gun and Oab did an excellent job portraying their characters. Gun's character was STARVED for affection, and the mental and physical abuse he encountered skewed his mindset. I really like how the movie displays realism and fantasy. It was interesting trying to figure out if everything was a figment of his imagination or not. That was also something I didn't like about the movie because there was no transition between the mind and reality. Also, the camera angles were off at times and close ups were blurry. All in all, I enjoyed the movie, I honestly felt sad for the character who felt suffocate and felt like death (idk how else to put it) was the only way. I don't know if I'd recommend but I'd say give it a chance

5. First Love
Japanese Movie - 2019
It was interesting, Not in the this is so interesting that I have to recommend it, It was just interesting, The main characters had issues but we saw more of the side characters the actual mains. Everything was a mess, there was a fight scene in the warehouse which made no sense and everyone was just killing each other. The police randomly came too but did not help. The main people I guess had a happy ending but I couldn't tell if they were together because they wanted or needed each other or it was out of convenience because they had nobody else. I wouldn't recommend because the story was scattered everywhere (February)

6. Change
Thai Movie - 2013
Love James and Fluke. The story was sad, but needed to be told (March)

7. Love's Twisting Path
Japanese Movie - 2019
I will not recommend this, it might just me, but the story felt so disjointed. The development of love didn't happen. They have a backstory that wasn't shown, and I didn't understand why they liked each other. Also, there wasn't chemistry between anyone in the movie which is weird because I know everyone in the movie for their chemistry. I'm guessing it was the editing. The ending, I guess it's supposed to be deeply meaningful like he found out what his worth/value is through fighting to death,--best for a samurai. Honestly, it made little sense.

8. Under Your Bed
Japanese Movie - 2019
This was interesting, just really interesting. I don't know how else to describe it but interesting. I would recommend but I also wouldn't... It was an interesting experience (March)

9. Diner
Japanese Movie - 2019
This movie was so long and I loved every minute (although some parts were meh and predictable but WOW) This girl just wanted to change her life and feel needed so she tried to get a job. Got sold to a Diner for Killers and had to work with her LIFE ON THE LINE! Everyone did phenomenal in their roles. I'm so happy she got happiness in the end tho (March)
