Completely falls off...
This kdrama started on a really good note and I was sure it was going to be at least like 8 out of 10. Well, about half way through I began to realize I was mistaken. The thing is that the premise shows a lot of promise. Characters are likable (except for Sunho because he deserves no rights) and it's enjoyable to just watch them do their little cheering thing. But the more you go on, more you realize that most sub-plot serve simply to waste your time. There are 2 filler episodes in there where nothing happens for an hour. Even the finale is kind of that way too. The main mystery seems super intriguing, but then gets revealed half way through and ends up being useless at the very end. Unfortunately I feel like my time was wasted watching this and I don't recommend it. It's not horrible by any means, but you can find way better sports kdramas out there.Vond je deze recentie nuttig?
Boring & Forgettable...
I don't need a lot when it comes to romance to be happy. Just give me a cute main couple, creative storyline and some sort of conflict. That's all I really need. With this kdrama I barely got any of that. Not only are both leads flat and poorly written, but they also have ZERO CHEMISTRY. This is probably my biggest issue with it. I can't wait a romance when there is no romance on the actual screen. Also every single conflict presented could be solved in 5 seconds if all people involved didn't act like elementary school kids. I can't help, but give this a low score because I'm surprised I even got through it. Wouldn't recommend you to watch it and you can easily give it a skip.Vond je deze recentie nuttig?
My Favorite Zombie Show
As a fan of zombie content in cinema, I had to check this one out a few months ago when my finals finally ended. I went in with HIGH expectations, just because we all know South Korea can do horror content in general extremely well and bring something new to the zombie genre that Hollywood doesn't seem to be able to anymore. I enjoyed this take a lot and as much as it took some getting used to the brutality of the transition from human to zombie for me personally, once I did it became the best possible ride. I would say that the romance sub-plot feels shoved in for no reason and completely useless. I wish it wasn't there to begin with. The ending also let me down to be honest and I hope they build up on it in season 2. It's more than needed. I do recommend you check this one out for sure, because if nothing else, the horror is so damn good!! It also made me cry a few times, which isn't that common for me.Vond je deze recentie nuttig?
The pacing is a bit confused...
I watched this a while ago, but I'm only putting this review here now. If you haven't watched it yet, it's definitely worth it. Pretty much everything is perfect, except that it is too long. One or two episodes inbetween could easily be shortened or removed entirely. The ending also let me down a bit, but season 2 hopefully will explain more of why the ending was the way it was. Be mindful though that it is gory and blood with many horror elements. Not exactly a lighhearted watch. What blew me away the most is the acting and I found many of my new favorite kdrama actors through this show. Would for sure recommend!Vond je deze recentie nuttig?

One of the best kdramas I've seen this year...
This one took me by surprise because literally nobody was talking about it, so my expectations were low as a result. What a gen though! It was funny and lighthearted, but the mystery involved throughout the whole show ended up being much darker than I could have ever imagined. The acting was questionable at times and the plot was a bit predictable in certain points, but overall such a great watch. Will never rewatch it again though because emotionally it's just too much for me to handle. Too many personal triggers, but for one time watch I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!Vond je deze recentie nuttig?
