I have to be honest the drama attracted me cause of how good looking the main leads were,but i was shocked when it was actually good. The ending satisfied me so much it is a pity that the main leads never really got any romance tho i need a season 2 on their love life since this series was based on exposing the truth and getting revenge but i loved it. Great drama to kill time, average storyline,good acting + visuals and smart powerful leads.I'm not gonna talk about the plot since the description is enough but i'd definitely recommend this drama!

I haven't felt such excitement in so long for a drama but this has me on CHOKEHOLD, this is how i expect a revenge cdrama to be some should really take notes. I don't know what I'm gonna do if this drama finishes it set the bar too high literally making it to my favourite list instantly. Don't know why anyone would even hesitate to watch this. Don’t judge a book by it’s cover?
Based on the title and thumbnail i thought it was going to be full on thrilling cause of the vibes it gave off, all the thrill starts from episode 10 but you do need to watch the rest of the episodes in order for it all to puzzle up and make sense. (you'll understand it once you finish it) the rest of the episodes are about the gao family’s power struggles fighting each other for power, the love story of cheng cheng and Jiang Yuanxing, lies & forgiving and all the identity stuff. Honestly the plot twist kind of shocked me i didn't quite expect that but i was absolutely amazed and loved it. Not everyone got their happy endings (the main couple did dw) i also pity some of them, especially that diary made me bawl my eyes out. Anyhow so many people dropped this at episode 1-2 their loss, and honestly this series is getting so much unnecessary hate, everyone their own opinions but i LOVED it, worth the watch the actors did a really good job it was only 12 episodes and they managed it so well need more series like this some of them are way too long just for the unnecessary long drama thing that keeps on dragging. But overall 10/10 definitely worth it. (forgot to add this and can't be bothered to go back but the main leads chemistry were AMAZING those intense scenes made me get butterflies damn)Vond je deze recentie nuttig?

ridiculous to the point where it's funny
First of all this all together is only an hour and a half so it's clearly low budget, i expected that but please they made the "doctor" wear a white coat and some casual T-shirt and shorts under it which is quite visible ? and some actors never got new clothes the sets were also cheap but i can still bear with that. There's nothing thrilling or new to the storyline it's literally about a girl who replaced her twin then got exposed but fell for each other that's basically it. At the end her supposed sister came back so i have no idea if it's hinting at a season 2 but let's not hope so. The only actors who did half decent are probably the main leads their chemistry were good and like 3 side characters. The rest didn't portray their characters well at all like they were so stiff and emotionless. If you are really bored out of your mind and want to have a good laugh at some below average dramas but with some good romance scenes, here you go.Vond je deze recentie nuttig?

Good to kill time
This all together isn't even an hour long so that explains why it's like so rushed and everything was going by so fast,it's also a mini-drama so don't expect high budget looking things. The main leads were amazing in terms of acting and visuals, some side characters' acting were questionable tho. Storyline isn't anything new but the costumes were really beautiful and the music's quite catchy. Overall good if you have spare time and are out of dramas to watch. I've never heard of this drama despite filtering my searches on the same genres but luckily i found it through recommendations of another drama. There aren't many republic dramas i like but this sure is one of them, from acting,sets to storyline it was all fantastic and exciting. The way the FL finally got her revenge was satisfying although i'm dissapointed that the villain died such a quick death after all that he has done he deserved so much worse, also sad about the fact that concubine Sun couldn't be with Feng Shixun though, concubine Sun's character developement was amazing. But anyhow the main leads' chemistry are AMAZING they got me giggling like a crazy person, every romantic scene of them were *chef's kiss*. I get how people also talk about how bad the ending was, but i thought it was pretty good although she got there quite sudden but the rest of the scenes made me feel the justice i needed. If you're looking for a good republic drama with on point sets + costumes and amazing chemistry between the actors with crime & mystery this is the drama for you!Vond je deze recentie nuttig?

overrated
I don't get the hype for this drama. It's not bad but also not good, the FL makes me so angry with her voice and personality she never listens and doesn't realise who she really loves until towards the end. She always acts on her own like a toddler it's annoying. But the ML nailed it, i have no idea how he didn't go crazy but anyways the other actors did wel tho.I did love the part where they go to the mortal world it was really interesting and the editing was honestly good.

I don't know how to express myself at this point, this was far beyond my imagination it was so good that i couldn't even skip a second of it, the emotions it gave me the visuals the acting the music the sets everything got me squealing. I am so satisfied with the ending i need to see these two in another drama cause their chemistry is just perfect that i can't even tell if it's acting or not, this whole plot is just so good i'm not even exaggerating right now i swear i absolutely loved it, i'm never the type to rewatch dramas i only give stars for it for other people to rewatch it but this is the ONLY drama i'd rewatch. Every single part of it is perfect and i'm gonna cry happy tears. Please watch this you won't even regret it the goosebumps cause of the tension is crazy. fav mini drama
I've taken quite a liking to mini dramas recently and most of them have confusing/empty kind of plots due to the short amount of time, but this drama gave me everything it could in such a short time the twist didn't seem rushed like everything was just taking it's time and making everything seem like i'm watching one of those long dramas,the romance was top tier the main couple's chemistry was incredible and i love the second leads love too although it's a pity they couldn't continue their romance,loved the comedy through out too and the music was so good matched scenes perfectly. Mixed feelings
I had high expectations for this drama cause of the cast which I LOVED, storyline was so good but became way more frustrating on second half especially during the “rebellion” cause tell me why the FL turned on her brother the second she found out he was involved in her murder in the past life whilst he could casually chat with SRQ who accompanied her for 17 years yet still let her die in vain like that ? Without the ML’s persuasion she would’ve literally went against her brother who isn’t even the same person from her past life where’s the logic here, FL was really confused at times but luckily there’s always the ML knocking some sense into her & she listened so that’s relieving.I also adore the main lead’s relationship, whenever there’s a “conflict” they’d actually talk it out & resolve it like actual adults instead of dragging it which kept my sanity compared to other dramas.
The ML was honestly my favourite character throughout this whole series I’ve realised ZLH actually nailed this role & it fit him so good, he made it look so natural basically this is definitely my favourite role of his, kind of reminds me of his role in maiden holmes or maybe my memory is just bad? Anyhow ML actually had common sense!
Overall I wouldn’t say this is some special masterpiece but it definitely was a good entertaining drama with cute side love stories ( I was so invested in SGY & SRH’s relationship! ?)
so I would definitely recommend this drama in any case if you’re looking for a palace intrigued drama with a healthy main couple!

It’s 6am I’m so sleep deprived cause of binging this drama, i was HOOKED the way I didn’t expect much when starting it due to the plain looking poster but look what i got myself into, I won’t go into the plot summary cause you can quite literally see it everywhere but I love it! I’ve never seen anything like this actually where one tries to change their past but it ends up being a dream that’s the most logical way but didn’t expect that in dramas. The hints with the fragrances instantly made me realise what the plot twist was but when it happened i was still shocked their acting just makes me feel everything. A lot of tissues were used when watching this but everything added up so perfectly. Although I’m still quite bittersweet about the romance between the ML and FL but it makes sense this easily became one of my favourites, one of the only dramas I’d actually rewatch. All the characters portrayed their characters so well there wasn’t a single flaw in my eyes, I absolutely adored the family moments and bawled my eyes out when it was all shattered ? definitely recommend it, Zhou ye showed it all here.Vond je deze recentie nuttig?

I never really liked dramas that involve face swapping but i made an exception for this cause the thumbnail,casts and everything attracted me and i'm glad i did. Cause when i tell you i gasped I GASPED it was so good??? Like the chemistry between the leads were over the roof and the twist got me shocked never would i have thought that that would happen.I was so sad for the second couple but when you see them back as "doppelgangers" and having a relationship that they deserved got me so happy everyone got the ending that they deserved.
And i also love the fact that there was no toxicity at all in the main leads relationship they never jumped to conclusions and the male lead was so understanding like i enjoyed every second of them.
so overall if you're wondering whether to watch this or not go for it i beg this mini drama does not disappoint. These mini dramas are getting better than those long ones i swear.
