The story will endure. I can definitely see appropriations and manifestations of this show in the future.
The acting and cast was amazing. I have seen works consisting of most of the actors such as A-Teen, Come and Hug Me, Dokgo Rewind and School 2015 and none of them let me down, despite the atrocity of Dokgo Rewind. Although the character overload in the beginning can be quite overwhelming, its gets easier and you get used to all the characters throughout the show.
Music was great, and Ha Jin's We All Lie will remain a classic. I would re-watch this any time and with anyone who views kdramas as lighthearted. If I could, I'd write an essay on it.

So Rim and K weren't all that memorable. A lot of the supporting cast had more impact than the leads. After the controversy with the actor who plays Chan Young I wasnt so pleased to find out he was the second lead but the supporting cast was great. Sung Joo from UNIQ who plays the lead vocalist of crude play and falls in love with the manager of Mush and Co did a great job. Jang Ki Yong also did a great role with playing In Ho, as well as the 2 members along side So Rim. My problem fell with the story, not the cast as I have enjoyed the works of the actors such as Jang Ki Yong and Hyunmoo but the story just reminded me of the british Victorian text Jane Eyre. K is very Rochester-like and I have no shame in making this comparison. K's character concerns me. The amount of red flags..is baffling. So Rim should've moved on the moment she found out he was K. Jin Woo would have been a better pick, a whole Jin Woo is there and So Rim chooses Han Gyeol. PLEASE WHY
I would not rewatch. OST is a 10/10 but the story did not do it justice. Please go watch a better drama.

Overall, this isn't your romance drama, it is a psychological thriller more so than a romance and I am not disappointed. Each character and the acting of the senior actors (Jeon Mi Seon and Lee Sung Joon) really complimented the rookie actors (Shin Yeeun and Park Jinyoung). I just felt that the plot was too jarring, the first half is a DRAMATIC contrast to the second half of the drama.
If you were like me, an ahgase who also watched A-teen, you will not be disappointed.

The director/producer sure love their flashbacks. They're uselessly long and worth skipping. This drama could've been shortened to 20 episodes if it weren't for the overly long flashbacks. The final 6 episodes gave this drama a soap-opera tone and I felt like they could've incorporated the support characters a lot better in relation to the 2 main characters. Li Xia and Xiaosi get boring after 30 episodes. While the actors did have chemistry, the plot was just... I watched this drama with its plot in mind but I did not think it would be this terrible. Yan Mo and Lu Zhi Ang had more development than Li Xia and Fu Xiao Si. The ending was terrible. I wanted to get to the ending of this drama because I was so tired of the drama and soap-opera elements. I watched the last 10 episodes on 2x speed and skimmed through. I got the gist of the plot, but it could've been done wayy better. I watched love 020 but I did not like the plot.
Save your time and don't watch this drama. It is bland, a better Chinese romance and coming of age sorta drama is A love so beautiful or Age of Youth.

1) The chemistry between Momo and Gu Wei Yi actually exists. I know, and it doesn't seem like the actors are trying to force the chemistry. As I am only 8 episodes in, there is no 'everyone falls for the main girl' AND LET ME TELL U I WAS SO DONE WITH THIS TROPE IN CHINESE DRAMAS. (a great reason as to why I never finish them). Also the feelings so far have developed rather naturally. It isn't like 'ooh mysterious handsome man lays eyes on the clumsy girl and realises his love for her'. Again, another trope seen in ALOT of East Asian dramas, I must say. If you enjoyed the Japanese movie LDK or the Korean drama 'Because this is my first life' , this is a great drama to watch (please avoid Good Morning Call at all costs).
2) It is not dragged out. The pace has been relatively consistent and THERE are ONLY 24 EPISODES NOT 50. I've never finished Chinese dramas because they pace things out so long. What can be done in 30 episodes should not be dragged out into 50.
Also, so far its been a really nice drama? There is no 'oh I scraped my knee because my dog ate my homework' which I've seen alot in Chinese dramas or petty competition between leading male characters (so far). Also, the characters are relatable. The character of the protagonists is very well portrayed in their actions and decisions. Whoever wrote/directed this, did a good job in supplementing the main plot.
Also, the characters have depth. The director uses film techniques like flashbacks that add substance to the characters and this is key. Not to mention, the humor is good and laughable. Also, I dont know what the rest of the drama would be like as there is only so much you can predict from the first 8 episodes, so my stance could change. This is why I haven't given it a 10 out of 10 but I highly recommend this drama.
