I absolutely love this series. Piao xe ren did an excellent job portraying a strong, wreckless and mischevious princess. The ending was punchy, unexpected and truly iced the storyline. The main lead for the prince also portrated his jealousy and relentless behaviour exceptionally. The only thing I thought could have been done better was the chemistry created in the beginning.. there was some awkward hugs between xiao feng and gu xiawo, perhaps it was early days and the actors were still easing through the line. The dachi tribes reminded me of GOT. Wished we saw more of them! They were unique. I also love the setting and landscape of xi state/dachi. Beautiful cinematography. Also, loved General Pei and his charasmatic aura. So far this series and eternal love are hands down my fave C-dramas. OST for both are music to my ears, hearty and gives me flashbacks of the touching scenes.
