This movie was done so amazingly, it's beyond words. It's a roller coaster ride with many nerve wreaking peaks not knowing if it'll end safely. Cheating as we all know is wrong and comes with consequences and I think it's fair to say that everyone has probably cheated once in their life, whether big or small, but this movie takes cheating to a whole new level. It outsmarts cheating and only a genius could come up with such plan, hence why its called Bad Genius. This movie also exemplifies the definition of buying your friends. Pat and Grace are both wealthy but that doesn't mean their lives are perfect too, they have expectations to live up to which is what leads them to bad decisions. None of them truly cared about Lynn, they were selfish, they bought her with money knowing she's in need of it. Lynn's misfortune was meeting Grace and Pat, she would've had a bigger future without them. However, as the saying goes, cheating is a choice not a mistake. Lynn is a grown woman who knows what's right and what's not, she chose to help her fellow classmates in exchange for money while knowing the consequences if she got caught. On the other hand, Bank was heavily ruined by everyone else due to their selfishness. Bank is a smart righteous person who doesn't tolerate cheating or injustice. But his whole life falls down because of others and soon the Bank we knew was no longer there. He changed because he was used and cheated by them so why not cheat them back for more money. This movie deserves so much more attention and appreciation. It includes the perfect amount of thrill and suspense to keep the audience excited. It did an incredible job portraying the fear, anxiety, and thrill of test taking. Vond je deze recentie nuttig?

As a person who loved the original this version did a good job adapting this drama. This drama probably has the worse second male lead syndrome. As I try to wrap my head over why the FL picked the ML still hurts. In most dramas I could always find a reason to pick the ML over the SML but in this specific drama it's hard, for both this version and the korean version. When comparing the two versions, each one had their own strong points. I think the original will always be more satisfying and chilling. Kim Sohyun really delivered. Plus the korean ost just gives goosebumps. On the other hand, I liked Gun and Krist's interpretation of the characters more. Nam Joohyuk was a rather dull and boring character, I honestly don't remember him doing much in the drama. While Krist is also quite dull I feel like in the Thai version we get a more in-depth look into Natee's character. My absolute favorite is Gun, he did so well playing a troubled kid. Sungjae and Kay's portrayal of the character were quite different. Gun made me love his character even more. It's sad that the first person he opened up to (Mild) didn't pick him. In the perfect world, Mild would pick Gun and Natee and Mean would end up together. Gun was always there for her and they went through so much together. Gun loved Mild for Mild while Natee fell for Mild thinking she was Mean. Idc what anyone says about Natee falling for the real Mild because he loved Mean first and he continued loving Mild while thinking shes's the real Mean, Natee getting a sweet and nice Mean was just a plus for him. Gun on the other hand noticed the difference and loved only Mild. In my opinion Natee should've ended up with Mean because that's who he loved and the one who helped and gave him hope in life. In the Thai version it didn't seem like Mean liked Natee but in the original you can't deny that Eunbyul did have feelings for Yian. Overall, I still prefer the korean version but I admit the Thai isn't that bad.

2020 hasn't had any good lakorns but My husband in law is a very good refreshing lakorn. It's a cute love story and the chemistry between Mark and Mew is beyond amazing. They both did so well in this lakorn. My husband in law was my most anticipated lakorn of 2020 and I honestly was disappointed after watching the first few episodes. I almost dropped the lakorn because the whole hacking story was boring but I came back for it and I'm happy I did. The beginning was stalled for too long, the hacking story went on for too long which made the lakorn lose essence. However, it picked up after episode 7. Mew was no longer hiding her feelings and Mark was slowly falling in love. The moments they spent together was so cute until you realize Mew did all this because she was leaving and that made everything so painful. I really felt her pain because she loves him so much. She did so well playing a girl holding onto her first love while knowing it's not hers to hold, the pain was so real. And in the end when they realized how much they love each other, the sacrifices they were willing to make for one another left me speechless. Such love exists. Mew spent all her youth loving and dreaming about Mark and now her dream is no longer just a fantasy, it's coming true.
Overall, this lakorn has showed me love and even though the beginning didn't start off so well, I did love the second half of the lakorn a lot.

This isn't James Ji and Taew's best work. The story isn't very captivating, I only watched because I love James Ji and Taew. However, if you do decide to watch it the story is quite interesting as you try to piece the puzzle together and understand the story. The story can get confusing as there's many past lives while trying to understand the present day issues. I didn't like the ending though because nothing made sense to me. As for rewatch value, I don't think I'll ever rewatch it. The osts are beautiful though and you can't deny James ji and Taew's talents, they're amazing actors and they've always had great chemistry, hence having 3 lakorns together. The way this drama was filmed and how the story was told is what makes me rate it 10/10. This story deals with depression and suicide. It focuses on family problems and how badly it impacts the kid. I loved how the series doesn't focus just on the love story, it's deeper than that, the family issues that was highlighted in this story is really real and it shows the effects of suicide on the people who are still alive. After suicide the ones who suffer the most are the loved ones. The depression goes in a cycle. Now the story was written in such a good way. The audience is faced with many questions and confusion about Thannam's death. We're set to believe that Thannam is from a sweet loving family and is about to get a little brother and she's also in a happy relationship so why in the world did she commit suicide, it's all up to us to guess and predict. As each episode went on, a lie gets unraveled and that makes the series so interesting to watch, I couldn't stop watching. All the set up that we were supposed to believe all turn out to be lies. Thannam suffered too much and couldn't handle it anymore. Her story is so devastating. I remember the scene where she meets Tee at his gate and he asked her where she was going and she said she was visiting her dad's house, this made me so confused because why would she be visiting her own home. Everything made sense when the truth gets unraveled. The happy Thannam was all fake. She wasn't from a loving family, the little brother was just her half brother and her relationship was toxic. When we come to know the truth we realize how much pain Thannam had to endure. It wasn't just Tee who caused her to commit suicide, it was everyone around her, everyone she knew and loved. Everyone from her mom, dad, uncle tai, to Tee were selfish at one point and ends up hurting her badly. One line that pained me was when she told Tonmai that being in the water that night was warmer than being in this world. The most important relationship in this series is the brother sister love between Tonmai and Thannam. His sister was the first present he's ever received in this world and Tonmai was the only person who can help Thannam. The closure that everyone gets in the end is the best ending I could ever ask for. Thannam is finally free and the people she loved is strong enough to move on from her death and Tonmai is finally able to feel real happiness. Grab your tissues cause this ones a real tearjerker.
Okay but I hated Tee. He became really irrelevant and in my opinion he doesn't love Thannam. Their relationship started from lust, he never truly loved Thannam and didn't even care for her till she committed suicide. When he said he loved Thannam after she died, it was guilt playing him. Even after the ending I still don't think that he loved her.

My most favorite cast wasted over a bad story. The drama had a great cast with a promising start but goes downhill afterwards. It was the drama I waited every week for and I loved it a lot but after that ending this drama is on my list of bad dramas. The romance was all over the place and there seemed to be no real chemistry between the two leads. The FL had more scenes with the second lead, this really threw me off. The drama focused too much on the side characters and on Yanxuan's story that they neglected Yuwen Yue WHO IS OUR ML! The ending is the worst to ever exist. And till this day I'm still waiting for a season 2 to heal my broken heart. Vond je deze recentie nuttig?

The story may progress quite slowly but it was paced perfectly for the audience to fully understand the story. This show was really just to promote 9x9 but it was good. It follows the life of a big Thai-Chinese family and within families there's always those who are greedy and jealous. This supposedly happy family goes downhill when the eldest brother is found dead, everyone in the family is immediately suspects and now the desperation to prove your family innocent and others guilty becomes the number one priority. You can't trust anyone. If you're a 9x9 fan:
-Tor: He played as the eldest grandson but since his mom is only the daughter he doesn't get anything. In my opinion Tor is the strongest and most important role in this series. He was the only one throughout the whole series who actually did something. Tor loves his family and is willing to do anything to protect his family even if it means putting on a dangerous show. In the end Tor got shamed on for what he did but I think otherwise. If Tor didn't do that the story wouldn't have resolved rightfully and the guilty wouldn't have stepped forward and his brother Jackie would have to stay in jail forever.
-Jamyjamess: He was the first to find out the truth and the evidence was in his hands. I was so happy when Jamyjames found the evidence and hoped he'd be the one to bring justice BUT he failed me.
-Jaylerr: JJ is the second grandson after Tor but he gets everything because his dad is a son.
-Captain: He is the second son in Patsorn's family, the second brother in the family (Tor, Captain, Third, Jackie). I was so frustrated with Captain's character because of the lack of trust he had in his mom. Even when the suspect was moved on from his mom he still think his mom did it till the very end.
-Third: He is the 3rd son in Patsorn's family. The superstar of the family.
-Jackie: The youngest son in Patsorn's family. He plays a very frustrating role. He was horrible in the beginning but he didn't deserve for the blame to be thrown on him. He went to jail for a crime he didn't do and nobody believed him not even his parents. The only person who believed him was Tor and ultimately it was Tor who helped him out of jail. Meimei was really shameless for throwing Jackie in jail without even feeling remorse which is why if Jackie doesn't end up forgiving her I totally understand. Just because you're family doesn't mean forgiveness should always be given.
-Ryu: He's Jamyjamess brother and he's just like his dad, carefree and childlike. His role is small he doesn't do much.
-Porsche: Lives and was raised by Ama
-Ice: He's the mistress's son with Prasert so the half brother of JJ.
Overall, my favorite family would have to be Patsorn's. In the end, even though the family experienced this life changing phase they found their way back to each other. Of course it'll never be the same again because you can't erase the pain away.

Hormones is one of the best teenage series to ever exist. It focuses on real life teenage issues and the confused life of teenagers. It also tackles hard and serious topics that are important to discuss to teenagers about. The 2nd season is just as good as the 1st if not better. It brings each character's story to the next level. I liked how this show focused on each character individually and gives each character their own episode to highlight their problems. This gives the audience a chance to see the characters deeper and understand them. Stories:
-Win and Kwan: their story is one of my favorites. Win and Kwan are polar opposites but opposites attract right. In the first season we see how Win hurt Kwan unintentionally and ultimately loses her. I think I'm bold enough to say Kwan was the best thing for Win. Win started to change bad habits for her and they always worked well together but when he lost her and he couldn't get her back he did everything to get her attention which led him to fall. Without Kwan he's helpless. He turned to drugs and this is a very big topic that's barely talked within the younger kids and Hormones was able to tackle it. In the end Win and Kwan's story is left very open but I think that's the best ending for them. We know that they like each other but being in a relationship isn't what Win needs right now while in rehap, he just needs someone to stay by his side and that's exactly what Kwan is doing.
-Phai and Sprite: their story was one of the most intense. Phai lost himself being insecure and possessive over Sprite which led him in the wrong direction. Their relationship wasn't going to work if he doesn't work on himself that's why Sprite let him go. In this season, their relationship faces more obstacles too as they try to find their ways back to each other. Their timing was always off, every time they were ready to be together something blocks their way. And then there's Phai and his story of the unwanted pregnancy. His story was so real and intense.
-Tar and Toei and Kanompang: I didn't like Tar and Toei together if I was to be very honest. I just never felt like Toei truly liked Tar, she never did until she got cheated on and realized she lost Tar to someone else. What pained me the most was when Tar left Kanompang on that stage alone and ran off after Toei, that was such a jerk move. I felt no pity for Tar and Toei at all because Kanompang didn't deserve to go through that. Of course she got annoying and bitchy but imagine your bf being so friendly and in love with another girl, I think Kanompang deserves some credit.
-Phu and Thee: All I can say is that I pitied Thee so much. I really wished that Thee would move on and stop giving in to Phu. He needs to realize his self worth and love himself more. Phu broke up with Thee to be with someone else and ends up using Thee again. When Phu asked Toei to stop being friends with other guys and give attention to Phu, he was just so unreasonable. Out of all characters in this series, Phu is definitely the most confused one. I don't blame him though.

The first time I watched Reminders was right after LBC to see more AePete and Tincan. The first time through I watched it through the lens of a LBC stan because I haven't seen Lovesick, this made me see Reminders as just a mediocre show to satisfy fans. After Reminders I decided to give Lovesick a try and guess what I absolutely loved it. I was so obsessed and attached to Lovesick. I watched Reminders once again but this time as a Lovesick and LBC fan. And what can I say, this time through hit differently. The growth of PhunNoh is beautiful and can I just say Captain glowed up so handsomely. Their reunion after so many years make all PhunNoh fans nostalgic, especially with their iconic ost playing.
Reminders is a quick show to pass time and if you're a LBC fan this series may seem like nothing but if you're a Lovesick fan this series is a total 10/10 worth watching. Get some tissues ready because PhunNoh's comeback is just too beautiful.

Love Better Than Immortality

This is a cute and fresh drama and I found it pretty good despite the low budget. However, the time travel theme is getting old and in this case it made no sense at all. The story started off very promising but ChunHua's character got really annoying as the story went on. But I stayed for Qiuyue, he really hard carried this drama. Chunhua originally set off to find true love by giving up immortality but I was disappointed in her perspective of true love. She chased Xiaobai because she was told whoever she sees first will be her true love, she followed everything that was predetermined for her without trusting her own heart. Xiaobai is probably everyone's least favorite character but I don't hate him. Xiaobai did like and love Chunhua, just not enough, but Chunhua continued to test his love for her without ever giving him anything either. She never truly loved him and was always causing trouble so it's not fair to Xiaobai that he's the bad person for not picking her because she never picked him in the first place. She was asking him to give up martial arts for her and for their love but their love never even existed. How can he throw away his passion for a love that is so weak. Yes he didn't love her enough but she never loved him either so it's not fair that Xiaobai has to make a decision. She only liked him because she was told to. Then she continues to run back and forth between the two guys which made her really annoying. The overall story isn't very engaging, I skipped through the second half. But the romance between Qiuyue and Chunhua is really cute! Vond je deze recentie nuttig?
Now for other characters, my most favorite couple would have to be EarnPete. The ending for them is really open but as a EarnPete shipper I choose to believe that Pete picked Earn in the end. The way I see it, Pete never wanted to date Yuri, he just wanted to hurt Noh and make Noh feel the same pain that Earn did. He obviously cares and loves Earn. Another character that I came to really love is Yuri. Yuri is your definition of sweet and innocent. Yes she can be annoying but what I loved about her is that she truly loves Noh so much, so much that she's willing to let him go whenever he wanted to just so he can be happy even if it means hurting her. She continued defending his name till the very end. When they broke up, I have to admit I was hurt. I don't ship Noh with Yuri but I love their friendship. Noh and Yuri just got along so well and understood one another so much, I adore their friendship. Everytime they were together there was never a dull moment. On the other hand, I hated Aim. She's selfish and inconsiderate. I have no sympathy left for her. She hurt so many people. I do think that both Phun and Aim hurt each other badly though. Aim expected too much from Phun without ever giving him anything and even ends up cheating on him but you can't overlook that Phun did cheat on her too.
Another thing that struck out to me the most was the portrayal of friendship between guys and girls. The girls pretended to be friends with one another and was willing to sabotage each other for their own satisfaction. They talk shit about each other just to make themselves feel better and continued backstabbing one another. None of them were real with each other because they value others opinions more than friendship. On the other hand, even though the boys were seen as harsh on each other and always teased one another, they were sincere. They cared and loved one another and was open to accept each other as is. Watching the scenes with Noh's friends made me miss high school so much and it made me wish I had a close group of friend like them.
Overall, I love Lovesick so much, it'll forever be my favorite BL. Still hoping for a reunion with the same cast!

This isn't bad like what everyone thinks! Continuing from such an amazing series, season 3 was pressured and not many gave it a chance because of the change in cast. I understand it's hard to watch hormones without the original cast because they really carried the series plus it's just empty without them but season 3 doesn't deserve the dislikes it got. Original cast graduated and it's time for new kids to tell their stories. Even though season 3 isn't much related to the first two, season 3 did not disappoint. I might even like it more than the first two. (You really don't need to watch the first two seasons to understand this season). I admit at first I was iffy about watching the new cast cause I was so attached to the original but I came to love the new cast so much too. In my opinion, the original cast seemed more mature and older than the new cast, which is something I liked about the third season. They casted real high school teenagers to come play in this season which makes it so much more realistic. If this season wasn't named Hormones 3 I believe it would have received more love. A lot of people just didn't give this season a chance because of cast change. The stories itself were good too. I do feel like they messed up Kanompang's character though. In the end of season 2 we see that she's changed after getting hurt by Tar and she was pretty awful but all of a sudden in the new season she's seen as the good perfect angel which is the opposite of what was shown in the end of season 2. Another character that left a big impression on me was Boss. He's a controlling selfish person with great ideals. The whole student council team was made possible because of him and I absolutely loved his proposals. I really liked Boss in the beginning because of his perspective, you don't need to be popular to take lead. He gathered the school's most capable students and started the group with great leadership. However, he's a closed minded person. He doesn't accept the opinion of others and thinks his is the best. This quality of his makes it impossible for him to be in a team let along the president. I hated the other student council people though, instead of discussing their issues with the president and work together to fix the problems they go behind his back and kick him out as president. This doesn't make them any better than Boss. PLUS when they used Non as the face of the group to gain votes for his popularity, this just goes against the student council's main purpose.
Overall, season 3 is honestly good so please don't judge it before watching it.
