Cute way to end the story
I finally got around to watching these special episodes and I did quite enjoy them, they had included more about Syn and Nuer's story but I do understand that with them planning to do the show about Yu and Khondiao they focused more on them.As always Zee and Nunew's chemistry is amazing and they did a great job, I liked that even though it was a short mini-series they managed to include some character development with the way both Kuea and Lian deal with the possibility of marrying and Kuea wanting to follow his dreams.
I enjoyed and it did feel like it added something to the main story which not all special episodes do, looking at you Deep Night special episode.

A beautiful story with an even more beautiful cinematography
Ok, I knew I liked Jimmy and Sea's acting but this series just cemented how much I enjoyed their work. They have amazing chemistry and the way they portrayed these two characters was breathtaking, they gave them dimension and weight and that's something that we can't always say about the Bl series.I enjoyed the evolution of Mhok's character, he starts as your typical bad-boy delinquent but by the end of the series, he is much more than that. How he deals with his feelings and with the way Day needs him is incredible and seeing him grow throughout the series was amazing.
On the other hand, we have Day who is not only dealing with his disability but also with the trauma and frustration that comes with it. The way this disability has affected not only his relationship with his family and friends but also the way he faces the world. The way Mhok and Day influence each other was incredibly well written and I truly enjoyed seeing them change little by little and opening up to each other.
Now I think one of my favourite parts of this series is the way it was filmed, the way they chose to portray what Day can actually see allowing the viewer to pardon the pun see through Day's eyes worked really well. The use of colour and scents to distinguish characters and locations was really well done.
I also enjoyed the secondary couple with Night and Phojai and the way their relationship developed it does help that they are the biggest Mhok/Day shippers.
Spoilers ahead.>>>>>
I actually really liked the fact that they break apart at a point which gives Day a chance to be more than someone who needs to be taken care of. At the same time allows Mhok to grow and realize that Day doesn't need him at his beck and call every day. I do think that the end didn't really need to be the "fixing" of Day especially not after spending most of the series talking about how "normal" he actually is and he needs no fixing just a little adapting.

Too Over-hyped for it's own good
I think this series was just a bit too over-hyped for me, which only caused it to fall short. The actors' chemistry couldn't save this series. The script is quite poor, there are a few well-written scenes in particular between Uea and his stepfather. But besides that, I really don't have much to add to this show.
I found myself losing interest as the episodes went on. If you are looking for a show with a nice story and well-written this is not the one. If you are looking for a show with a lot of NC scenes and great chemistry between the actors this is the show for you.

Ai Di and Chen Yi steal the show
Once again Taiwanese series do not disappoint, I really enjoyed this. The main actors are quite good, but I have to say for me the second couple stole the show. I particularly liked the character Ai Di.
Storywise I enjoyed how the series is structured with it starting in the present and then going back to the past to show us how we got to this situation just to then follow the story from there.
It's a very well-written show I really liked the way the characters are written particularly the way the second couple's romance progresses. Louis did an amazing job of portraying Ai Di's feelings towards Chen Yi, the pain in love and most importantly the feelings of dejection and hopelessness of their situation.
I also enjoyed how the main couple's relationship developed and how they faced the age gap between the two characters.
This show is beautifully filmed, I truly enjoyed the sets and the colour grading of the interior scene in particular the bar scenes and the night scenes in Ba Zong Yi's room.
Although part of the script falls into a very well-known troupe I think that it worked for this series so in this case I am not mad at the use of this very overused plot point.
Completely unrelated to the plot of the show I appreciated the cameo of some other BL actors from series I previously enjoyed in this series.

Messy but in a good way
I truly enjoyed this show, although I have to admit that for me as a couple First and Khao stole the show. The story is messy, the hookups, the break ups and makeups are a lot, but as incredible as it may be it does work. The script is quite good which made it not only easier to follow the mess that is the life of this group of characters but it also made it believable and entertaining.
Are there a lot of NC scenes yes there are but this series also found space in itself to touch on tough subjects, an example would be addiction which is very well dealt with.
The actors did an amazing job, for me First, Khao and Neo stood out in this, Neo's character in particular. He made it so easy for us to hate Boston but at the same time care for him, which just shows how good of an actor he is.
I didn't really care much for Mew's villain arc but it did add to the series interestingly.
The mess that was Bosto-Top-Mew-Ray-Mew-Sand-Boeing-Top-Sand-Ray, I'm sorry what?

Was the sequel necessary?
Well, it's a cute story but it's really nothing to write home. There's a clear difference in how experienced the two main actors are which unfortunately caused one to stand out more. Also, the amount of technical filming to make the kisses look like real kisses was a bit off-putting in particular after the fact that the first part of this show didn't have it.
For me, it didn't add anything to the main story and even the brief presence of the two main characters from the Star in My Mind didn't really add to it. It had really nice moments of comedy but overall a bit disappointing.

If only they talked to each other
Ok is the series cute sure... is it also incredibly annoying and hits all the cliches and OML just talk already? Also yes. It's one of those BLs that the actor's chemistry couldn't save, Joong and Dunk have amazing chemistry and I like watching them act together but even that couldn't save this.
The script is another one without a lot of substance, two guys fall in love and proceed to ignore any type of proper communication and make us suffer through too many misunderstandings. Also, the character Typhoon is incredibly annoying and I couldn't stand him the entire show.
And the end scene with Daonuea brother came out of the left field I guess they just wanted a reason for a sequel but damn was it really necessary?

Heartbreakingly beautiful
This series is very different from all the shows I've seen from Thailand so far. I really enjoyed it, it doesn't have a lot of your typical stereotypes in Thai Bl and that only made me appreciate it even more.
The way the script and characters were written is superb. The way the characters deal with loss, homophobia, and self-acceptance is incredibly well-written and you can see growth in the characters as the series progresses.
The actors did an amazing job, their acting was on point, not only the main couple but, the mother as well, I think the way the actress portrayed her was incredibly well done. One of the things I really appreciate is the way Wang calls out his mother's behaviour and her microaggressions that she hides behind banter. It's a great conversation regarding real acceptance and doing the politically correct to save face. Also, talk about codependency I swear the entire cast of this show needs a LOT of therapy.
I think that the way this series was written is perfect I didn't miss your typical cliche kisses or anything like that, the yearning only made the characters so much more believable.
One thing that I really appreciated and I won't spoil it but, the way it ends just felt perfect for this story I don't think they could have given it a better ending if they tried.
The cinematography is gorgeous, the sets are beautiful and the way it was filmed, especially the night scenes made it feel much more intimate almost as if the viewer is eavesdropping on the characters' lives.
