I was looking for a gender-bender drama and found this. I was already a Fan of Bai Lu after watching the Legends.In this drama, I got more than I was looking for, loved the acting of all cast, started liking "Xu Kai" and "Wu Jia Yi".
Amazing gender-bender drama with great acting. Love the action and romance scenes.
The storyline was great.
Like the OST as well. One of my Fav Chinese dramas and I have watched it more than 5 times.
The struggle that the Fl goes through and becomes more strong over a period of time.
Got to see a new side of Xu Kai as an actor, he can be so funny and serious at the same time, like the various expressions he makes.
At the same time started liking Wu Jia Yi as an actress, if you like her in this drama then you must see her drama "Dance of the Empire". you will a different side of her and her pairing with Xu Kai was good as well.

Started liking Yang Mi.
The drama depicts the strong FL that I like. It has proper betrayal, regret, sadness, and character growth.
you will get to see two versions of Fl which are worth in one Drama. One strong Fl side, then a naive Fl, and the coming back being strong FL.
Love VFX effects that make it look surreal. also, the sweet love between ML and FL is covered with misunderstanding and complicated emotions.
A must wach for yamg mi fans .

I saw the trailer for this drama while searching for a strong FL princess Drama.As I liked the trailer and started watching was skeptical about how it would be, however, it turned out to be good more than expected.
It has the good twists and turns of a romance drama that one can look for Fl is not naive and waiting for a rescue, she can take matters into her hands. I like all the leads in ML and SML as well. Love the way love is portrayed by the 3 ML in their own way like the acting of "Jing Chao" and "Luo Yun Xi".
This was the first drama I saw "Luo Yun Xi", However, I became his Fan after watching "Ashes of Love".
Overall it is a Good watch if you like strong FL with loads of twists and turns in a drama.

Police Society Drama
this drama has a good essence of the realistic life of police officers and how they work and fulfill their responsibility as a citizen and as Law.It has some unrealistic scenarios, however, good police drama overall. good one-time watch. I only watched because of Bai Lu but it was nice how every cast was given their own screen.
For Bai Lu Fans I have watched a couple of her dramas and like her being a strong, chirpy, sweet, and naive girl. However, in this drama, I have seen a different acting style that fits her character of the daughter of a police officer perfectly. her vulnerability, struggle to overcome the protective shadow of police officers due to her father's sacrifice, and overcome from sadness and tackling her mom nicely.
