I originally watched this show for Mark Chao and Vic Chou and had no expectation at all. I had watched Mark’s Eternal Love Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms and Vic’s The Flame’s Daughter. Interestingly, Vic’s character Chen Tsai Tien is like his character from The Flame’s daughter, they wear white most of the time and also quite comical/joking around type. Mark’s character isn’t this is like his character from Eternal Love, they wear black most of the time and and very serious.

In the beginning, I thought the show was very lighthearted and funny. It got a little more serious and dramatic in the middle part. The last part is full of suspense and thrilling action.

If you are looking for romance, there is some but it’s not the main theme of the show. Moral of the story from the show is that not everything is black or white as they seem, a lot of things are in the gray area.

All in all, very entertaining watch, highly recommend!
