Too many lies over lies that lead to misunderstanding. The story is only about up and down relationship between two males leads. A thief and a law enforcement (Jinyiwei). The others are only side characters that can be easily tortured or killed to build some stories.

Don't need to confuse which side is bad, which side is good. Or which side will win, which side will lose.

Acting of both leads are good. That makes me want to watch this show until finish. Only 24 episodes will not make you bored. Try to watch this and expect nothing.
