Well uhm!Okay I won't be mean because this kdrama isn't actually that bad but holy shit is the ending grim.
Im kind of still pissed about how IU's character left almost every brother heartbroken like damn it felt like I was watching some kind of a cliche Fanfiction where every remotely attractive guy falls for y/n lol..
4th Prince falling for her was actually so beautiful and I hate how they ruined it in the end. I get she would've had to return back to her normal life eventually but was the depressing ending really necessary? Gah damn.
I also kinda shipped her with the 14th prince, I'm so happy they got married and he's the one who got to raise her kid. I was also pissed as hell that they didn't allow him to keep her ashes...Like yeah 4th prince and her were the ones in love but cmon he literally gave up on her and he gets to keep it? Asshole.
Well. I also shipped her with wangwook because aghhhhdiwhwahoaisjxcjkds the romance in the beginning and the tension between them ARE U KIDDING ME ISDIDAHDSO THE CHEMISTRYYYYY WOOOHHH...
Lowkey wishing they were the main couple but wtv..Good drama to get invested in.

Honestly watching this movie, you can just tell why it received the oscars. Its truly a work of art but at some points it is a bit confusing and it leaves you to interpret a lot of things in your own point of view. Especially the ending which was left bittersweet and yet open for you to give it your own ending. Was his daydreaming something that actually happens in the future or just something he wishes for? I also really wanted to know what happened to the rich family in the end, I was always curious about that and if kiwoo actually liked the daughter or not. It just leaves you wondering and creating your own theories about what the plot and the message is about. The actors did so well, really amazing performance and it really did deserve those oscars.

Really interesting plot, I really liked it and the pace of the show. Balanced between humor and seriousness very well. I loved the character development even though I felt a bit disappointed about the druggie going back to prison and relapsing, I feel like thats a huge plothole in the show and I was really confused why they just made that happen without ever talking about it again. His development felt really wasted , for most of the show it was him getting better and then he just..chooses to relapse again? Really made me mad, but whatever, not that big of a deal. This is a very good feminist kdrama in some way. It follows the main character who decided to be a female historian for the first time ever. Which of course is a big no no in Joseon Dynasty lol. Its very good built in my opinions, so many pure relationships get formed, many likeable characters as well. Eunwoo plays here as well, okay to be honest his character is the cliche cold guy but atleast hes a bit silly here and cute, he really did well here. Romance is the last thing i remember here tbh, im glad it didnt focus on that a lot and it was mostly about people accepting women in work. Really recommend this kdrama! Vond je deze recentie nuttig?

Im so sad that it got discontinued, Im truly disappointed to learn that it wont be getting another season. Its like finding a really good fanfiction only to realise that the author hasnt updated the story since 2015..If you're a big fan of time travel plots like I am then you might really like this! Though this technically isnt really time travel kdrama but if you're curious about it then I really do recommend you watching this. Romance isnt a main factor in there but you know how kdramas always find a way to get some cheesy romance in there...even if it is just very subtle lol.

Fever Dream
This kdrama is veeerrryyy fight club inspired i'd say. I definitely was NOT expecting that plotwist in the end, but thats what makes it all the more interesting i guess. This is also one of those kdramas that leave you with an open ending where you can only guess what happens in the end. I really like how they made us experience sort of a surreal experience along with the main character- And although the fandom loves to joke around how he and his killer alter ego are in love, it honestly does make a lot of sense. Was them being okay with each other in the end, them confessing their love for each other? LOL Im just blabbering around but the characters had more chemistry than the main character and his girlfriend!Vond je deze recentie nuttig?

Lovely Kdrama
Its such a calming kdrama..watch it when you're feeling low or in need of an escape. This show will make you want to escape just like the main character. It makes you intrigued and makes you wonder just how much can your life change if you do one thing thats huge and out of the ordinary. Will your life change for the better? Will you regret it? Who will you meet.. will you meet someone who will change you? Waahh.. all I have is good review for this kdrama. Though some episodes can be slow paced and a bit boring but i swear they quickly make up for it. Also another great Siwan role!Vond je deze recentie nuttig?

Watch when bored
Its one of those feel good kdramas tbh. It didn't leave a strong mark on me after I finished and I honestly already forgot what the kdrama was about. It does get interesting at times but this is also one of those kdramas where you just have to have patience to get through. I didn't hate it though! I think the characters are very likeable and I like how romance didn't play a big part but it was still subtly there. If you're bored and just wanna start a kdrama for the sake of it then this is the one! Its not that hard to follow although you kinda forget what the plot is throughout it, and it ends with a sort of an open ending. Heart tugging Kdrama
Woah... This kdrama just...Wow.Amazing acting and a really good plot. Usually plots like these are really hard to execute well but this is really well done. A good balance between humor and being serious. Talking about suicide is never easy let alone showing strong emotions like that on TV,,, The cast did such a well job. It can be a hard watch if you struggle with those thoughts yourself but as someone who struggles as well, this really did change my perspective on some things. BTW this will make you cry every episode....

Comfort Kdrama
Okay to be fair, I am a bit biased towards this kdrama since I followed it before the episodes aired AND I read the Webtoon version as well. BUT! The show does bring out a beautiful story about self love and self image and how loving yourself before loving anyone else should always be your priority. I'd call this kdrama a feel good kdrama because really everything goes well for the main character in the end (Which aheemmm it might be a little unrealistic but she did go through a lot of shit so she deserves it!!) But also another thing i'm so mad about is how poorly they treated seojun in here. As an avid TB Webtoon reader, seojun and jukyung were each others first everything and that got practically erased in the show. I got really mad and was very disappointed when their first kiss never happened! Not even jukyung reciprocrating his feelings!? Thats just low...But I digress! Whats so special about it?
Its gotten so popular out of nowhere and I assume its because of its great cast but this kdrama was such a drag and bore throughout most of the episodes. I guess you really have to love these characters to enjoy most of its episodes but I just couldn't bring myself to find anything interesting. I do admit though that at the end of the episodes like the last few episodes roped me in and I really enjoyed it! So I guess I enjoyed their adult years more than when their story spoke about their teen years which was most of the show...I also found the main characters' relationship weird mostly because of when they met she was underage and he was older. I think those two would've remained best if they always stayed as friends and I'm glad they didn't end up together in the end because there was simply no chemistry between them, in my opinion.Vond je deze recentie nuttig?

Suzy bae is one of my favourite kdrama actresses and she did so well here...in most of her works she always outshines her cast members. Though I do admit Woobin also did well!! This kdrama had a good start but it got a little boring in the middle of it, i'd say it was a bit of a drag.. but once she had to stay with Woobins character it got a lot more interesting and I liked the tension that was built in between the main characters. This is a very heartbreaking kdrama though.. so if you're thinking of watching this then beware for that.Vond je deze recentie nuttig?
Prepare to cry
I started this because of an edit I watched on tiktok. I saw park boyoung play as a depressed character and i just knew i had to watch it. Her acting is top tier especially when it comes to expressing negative emotions.The show is honestly a rollercoaster. I cried each episode and it lowkey reminded me of Tomorrow kdrama. Whenever there’s kdramas that center around mental illnesses or suicide I know it’s going to be one of the best shows but it’s going to make my heart ache each episode.
I loved all of the characters and their development although some episodes seemed too good to be true like, quitting and getting a dream job just like that or social anxiety getting lowkey erased. I understand the characters had a development to get to that point but as someone who has social anxiety all of that seemed just too good to be true to me.
This show also made me realise just how scary it is to put a name to an emotion that is actually mental illness. It’s insane how quickly people avoid you and view you differently just for having a mental illness…I don’t know if i’ll ever have courage to get a proper diagnosis but this show showed that it wouldn’t be too bad or scary if i did.
Really well done. I recommend it but be aware that this show shows self harm scars and self harm happening (which was a bit hard for me to watch) the show is a bit gory with some scenes so if you’re sensitive, do go into this show with caution.

Amnesia trope but actually done well
To be honest I wasn’t expecting much from this K-Drama when I first started it. I don’t think I was planning on watching this when it started promoting, but I was looking for something new since I was bored, and this just happened to be there at the exact time I needed it.I have no complaints about this K-Drama really. I’m not a big crier when I watch media, but this K-Drama tugged on my heartstrings so much. My biggest enemy is the death trope and this whole show made me get thousands of heart attacks by making me think one of them is going to die.
The love story between the main characters was so beautifully done. From the beginning on how they fell in love, to how they fell out of love and then doing it all again, fighting through their rough patches. It was genuinely so well done.
Granted it was a little frustrating because the couple kept misunderstanding each other and the entire time i would scream “just say it!!!”. Some of those scenes were a little too frustrating to watch, but it was worth it in the end.
I’m not the biggest fan of amnesia plots but this one was a little different since it wasn’t only centred around her losing memories but more so of the process of her losing them until ultimately doing so.
The actors had such an amazing chemistry between each other, I honestly loved them as a couple and I rooted for them throughout the show! Since I’m usually a huge second lead lover, this time the second lead had zerooo chances against the ML. The ML and FL were truly made for each other.
And also, I kinda dislike the constant “they met each other before when they were kids” storylines, almost every K-Drama has this nowadays, c’mon now!! Let’s be original and leave this trope alone!! And not only did the ML meet her when he was a kid but so did the second lead LOL its just stupid really. Second lead made sense but the ML meeting her two times in the past? Yeah alright…
And another thing I wanted to comment on is how well they hid the advertisement in their show. Usually they’re super noticeable in K-Dramas. When they whip out Kopiko and eat it with the dialogue following it like “Hm I definitely woke up from this!”, In queen of tears the way they implemented ads in there was barely noticeable which is why I got so immersed into the story. Although I did notice the blatant Subway advertising LOL.
All in all, this K-Drama had a lot of twist and turns, its a lot- and I probably missed out on a lot what I wanted to say because there’s just so many storylines and plots going on in there, but it keeps you entertained and engaged. Sometimes it would have boring scenes but they pass by fast and are followed up with interesting ones right after. Its well done, I loved it.
Keep in mind its a very heavy K-Drama, and if you’re very sensitive, this K-Drama will definitely make you cry!!

MAN I LOVED THIS SHOW!!It was funny as hell and interesting each episode! When I first started it i didn’t expect much and honestly i started it because of Han Jimin since she’s one of my favourite actresses!😭 But really this kdrama is SO worth it. Each episode filled with mystery and comedy, My Liberation Notes and 2521 were preferenced and I loved it so much it was hilarious!!!😭😭😭 Really this show has action, mystery and comedy and it’s executed so well! As someone who followed this story as the episodes were getting released, I was always excited for the new episode. AND the OST is amazing!!! The song is in my playlist now!!! Must watch really! And I can’t stop emphasising how funny the show was, they really got a laugh out of me each episode!
But honestly there is ONE thing I was a little iffy about and it’s how Yebun let the whole ‘my mother was murdered’ situation slide so easily. I get that the murderer died but still…
and also about seonwoo’s mother who disappeared! I’m so sad that he never got to find out!!! but on another note, I think everything else was perfect! Love it !!
