honestly tops more than half the cdramas ive seen. everyone is extremely intelligent (so far) and they don’t make the audience mad with constant dramatic irony.first of all female lead’s character has some of the best qualities i’ve seen. she has so much common sense and strategies that doesn’t leave the audience disappointed. there aren’t many misunderstandings in the drama that occurs (again, so far). not to mention her past is has such a good build up to the point where she hasn’t even mentioned it, barely a reaction out of her.
the male lead. 1, hes drop dead hotter than the microwaved ramen i ate watching this. he’s so smart. like smart isn’t even enough to describe how brilliant he is. his strategies against those who wanted to take him down was straight up hot if you ask me..
and these two literally fit each other SO well, like sure it’s a cute romance, but i feel like the problems they face make us look pass this cdrama as simply just a romance drama. they both have their priorities, but they’ll always care for each other and i honestly i love that. if this drama ends badly i don’t think i could ever trust another drama :)

Lost Interest
I really wanted to enjoy this drama, but after they killed of Zhi Xi, I lost complete interest. I've watched many dramas that have killed of my favorite characters, but after speeding through the final episodes I still found no reason for them to kill her off. The so-called "sad scene" was uncalled for in so many ways. They literally sat in that little boat and watched her slowly die for a good 2 minutes so Yang Zi could get a few crying scenes in. This was definitely a huge disappointment for me, and I don't regret skipping the final 10ish episodes because of how sick I got of it. I usually hate when dramas end because it's like I was saying goodbye to a good story, but I couldn't wait to finish this one.[this is my little rant to let out my anger, if you enjoyed this drama and feel hurt by it just move along].
