I think this is what you get living in regrets, a man and a woman with regrets in their lives, if they were not married, it is called, second chance and might lead to a happy ending; but in their status, it was an escape, a fantasy which leads to a reality that they can never be together.
I guess it is always easy to fall in love with a new person compare to be in love again with the same person.
But this is just one story, there can still be another story, when you free yourself from regrets, move on, and challenge yourself to discover something new about marriage and love. If it is love, then regardless of how many times you failed and got hurt, there can always be a happy ending without the need to spend for another wedding :))

And so what is my take on the drama.
Can't help to compare it with METS which is the last seaguk I have seen before watching Love in the moonlight. I did not appreciate the historical/wit/political/technical aspects of METS as a seaguk which they tried to show because I can't help but compare it with Ballad Of Seo Dong in which I saw huge difference on how both are written and so I can't like it on the technical side. And on the romantic side - I did not appreciate the love story because I did not like the main female lead appearance, acting and voice in the drama, and so I was not moved by the scenes, did not flutter nor cried. The only thing I enjoyed is watching KSH and his superb acting.
While in Love in the Moonlight - although it is a seaguk - it was not trying hard to be technically good and the drama made it clear even from the first few episodes, and so my mind was not focused on the technical side which exempts the drama in being compared to the greatly written seaguk, rather the first few episodes are humorous, clearly stated a less heavy less technical historical drama - with a touch of modernity and comedy. And I liked it. While on the romantic side, the story is straightforward, sweet and fluttering. Despite of the age gap of the main leads in real life they did have chemistry. And so Love in the moonlight won my heart as compare to METS. If KSH had a different partner in METS -I might have a different choice. (I'm happy to see the young main lead of METS played the main lead of LIML.)
Story:
Even though the set up - Boy pretends to be a woman- Three childhood friends -two liking the same woman - was same with Sungkyuwan Scandal, as the story progresses you'd learn to like the characters and the story that you won't mind them being common. There is actually not a single boring episode, first few episodes would make you laugh - next would make you flutter - then would make you cry and would make you thrilled. Overall, my emotional expectations were met, my heart was filled. the biggest factor of this is Park Bo Gum's appearance and acting,
Overall, it is a RomCom/Melo-drama in a Seaguk Setting - which turned out great for me. I loved it! Will definitely watch it again!

Why?
Maybe - i find it really hard to be interested with the female actress (i also did not find her charming in king 2 hearts but i managed to like the drama bec of Lee seung Gi ) - She seems to not create good chemistry with the actors - and so maybe this prevented me in even giving her character a chance - or maybe the character itself is not attractive for me at all.
More so - most of the story does not interest me - the fact that a rich man - fell inlove so quickly with a poor - strong woman - out of no where - (i can believe love at first sight but still there has to be a conversation and instant connection for this to happen) in this case - i didnt see any of that.
There are several scenes which are untrealistic - fantasy is supposed to be magical, yes , but should not think that viewers are dumb.
This drama sure included all things common viewers would want to see - but in a predictable manner - overdoing things (which I can’t stand the most)
Then why did i finish the drama?
I wanted to give Hyun Bin a chance into my liking - but i guess not in this drama- will watch and see from his other dramas instead.
I got curious since I’ve started watching it already (i skipped a lot of scenes though and just got to the point)
Do I hate this drama?
No. It’s just that - i did not happen to like it. Maybe if i watche dit when I was in highschool - i might have a better take on this - just maybe. But until then - i suggest you watch other dramas if you dibt have much time to burn.

It is brilliantly written,
I tells us about: love, greed, loyalty, betrayal, reasons, excuses, purpose, failures, success, discipleship, leadership, camaraderie , friendship, negotiation, submission, wisdom, foolishness, politics, life, death, struggles, rewards, etc etc etc.
I understood everything the writer was trying to show, of course with the help of the brilliant actors, everyone in the drama was consistent in their acting. Seeing Jo Hyun Jae's smile makes it even more worth watching.

Pros
Intruiging characters
Cons
Nothing special with the characters in the end (toinks)
Pros
Ceo’s character is consistent but
Cons
Only until ep 19
Pros
Se Jin’s character is intruging like her motives - psychological effects of things she suddenly got into - like an experiment of putting someone in another planet with the chance to be a new being - and watch how she would react to it -
Cons
It turned out FLAT - nobody’s experimenting - thus all the character became questionable rather than intruiging
Pros
Outfits are nice but
Cons
The never showed inner clothings! I’ve been wondering how the outfits look like only if they take off the coats at times
Pros
The casts are lovely and entertaining to watch like precious vessels
Cons
They were not filled with substance
Pros
The drama is an art (entertaining to look at)
Cons
Which did not turn out to be a master piece (not something you’d buy for price)

1 - Grandma/Chairman's values and principles - I've always dreamed of having position and wealth to make a difference in my own way - the drama showed me how it's like when you build something out of genuine dream which can touch people's lives - how meaningful it is to be in a position where your voice can be heard and trusted - and that you use this opportunity to influence and inspire people. It shows how powerful gratitude is an how every single thing done for someone in need regardless of how big or small it is can make a difference. I love how grandma knows how valuable and useless money is at the same time. Coming from rags to riches - money did not overpower her- rather she used and viewed money properly. Her story is a proof that the path to greatness does not have to be lonely nor greedy - she took the path where she helps people to climb so when she reached the top she was not alone. I too would love to reach the top not for people to look up or bow to me - but to be able to pull someone up whenever I can.
2- Love story - Being married for years now - when I recall love stages my favorite is always the initial stage where you notice changes from your whole system and it naturally manifest without your control - which Hwan has shown effectively in the drama. I'm not a fan of instant crazily in love plots - this drama sure did satisfy me on showing how the love story started and progressed. I agree with the qualities of Eun Sung being attractive - I love how she expressed her intentions especially she knows when to speak and keep quite which is an important aspect every woman should know. I love how genuine the process the have undergone to in getting to know each other - the circumstances have given them both to see clearly how they complement each other and how trust is built between them without the need for words.
3 -Eun Sung up bringing. Coming from a rich family she managed to build a sense of responsibility and gave importance to family and relationships. She cries when she has to - smile when she can - stand up no matter what and never ever entertained the though that she is pityful - she never pitied herself after losing both her parents and brother on top of that being broke. I think this is the result of knowing that you are loved. 100 people may hate you but this can not erase the love you get from a single person - and this single truth alone can keep you going and keep you away from all insecurities.
4. Eun Eu (Piano) adding his character in this drama makes it extra special - he makes anyone next to him shine even brighter - his honesty and innocence brings out the softness from the people he mingles with. He had instant chemistry with his 2 noonas, step mom, hwan and so on. The piano piece "longing for Noona" perfectly blends with all of this.
5. The plot and script are just how I wanted to see and hear- met all my expectation. Brought me satisfying emotions. All dots connected and consistent. Each characters did how they are supposed to based on the story and said the exact lines at the right time every time with brilliant acting and great OST in the background.
6. Secondary casts - they all did a great job in each of their roles. Seun Mi and her mom both are gorgeous and acted well.
7. The choice of setting : 1. That main leads stayed in the same house and 2. in the same company - without overdoing the plot and not overly cheesy encounters.
8. That Lee Seun Gi starred in it :) this is such a HUGE bonus to this already beautiful drama.
(I have watched this drama twice - 2nd just recently in netflix and everytime I finish 28 episodes in 2 days )

I loved the male lead and his chemistry with his noona-got fluttered in the first few episodes and i cried watching the final episode. But why 7.5 ? There are a lot of repetetive scenes- too slow directing and too much cheesiness! Glad I saved myself from wasting some hours by skipping several scenes and ended up appreciating the drama still. I didnt want to blame it all on the flaws and chose to just watch the scenes that interests me withiut compromising my understaning of the story. Maybe because the actors are too adorable that I wanted to enjoy this piece of work they worked hard for
The wrtiter had some strong points and showed several real life scenarios - it is simple and natural - but there could have been hundreds of other scenes/scripts that are natural but flavorfull. Should have digged even deeper - and should have come up with a more interesting twist.
.*spoiler
I appreciate those hide and seek parts which reminded me of dating secretly - the break up and the pain of letting go - and thrill of reconciliation .
On top of that found my new oppa to watch for- Jung Hae In! Overall a good watch !

I'm 2yrs late for this drama. Yay! (Cuz i normally wont watch a too famous drama while it is being aired int my country (PH) IDKY,This is one of the few dramas which I would not wish to be written otherwise. It brings you to a new place where you just gotta trust it; sit back and relax. It did not disappoint me in any way. The main leads (KSH my love) Ji hyun and the supporting casts are all perfect for their roles.
KSH acting of a poker face alien will never bore you, his voice is just perfect to sound old while in a young body.
Ji hyun's acting was just right, she did not overdo it which is amazing, The 2nd male lead's character was not pathetic which is good, the main villain actor also is very suitable for the role, Ji hyun's brother is so cool and cute, and the mother actresses are both gorgeous. And same goes to everyone else.
The location shoots; cinematography, especially the OST are all superb. This kissing scenes were surreal.
I actually liked this even better when I rewatched it. I even like it better than Goblin maybe because I fell in love with KSH deeper than I did with GongYoo, hihi.
BLOOPERS: I only knew there were extra scenes after each episodes on my second time watching this drama. lols. I hate spoilers so I would go to the next episodes right away that;s why. hehe huhu

I’m aware of Ji Chang Wook’s popularity - but have yet to watch any of his shows until - healer (reason is i am still busy following my other favorite oppa) - i gave healer a chance given its high ratings/reviews.
Watching the first few episodes are not boring but I was not convinced of the high reviews - until I was on Episode 7 - the rest is just so savory, so satisfying. I may not enjoy the appetizers that much but defenitly enjoyed the main dish to the very last dessert.
It gives me the same thrill from watching “equalizer” “Mission Imp” kind of movies and the chills from watching “twighlight” series.
I must say - koreans really can pull off writing a drama in a way many writers fail to do (so they just use so much killings- making villains obvioulsy and overly cruel that makes watching too depressing) while, Korean dramas - certainly know which part of emotions to attack - upto what extent - and ofcourse it never loses its aim plot and romance.
Having attractive actors (such as Ji Chang Wook) in this case certainly is an advantage in korean film industry- and charming leading ladies.
I would certainly add JCW to my favorite oppa line up. The samchun sure made a huge impact too- i rarely get impressed with a third character.
