I am a sucker for powerful brave strong and smart women who in addition can kick butts through martial arts or whatever. It’s super touching, empowering and just plan badass. I always eye for such shows that has these kinds of woman portrayal. I thought when I read the description this show that this would be my cup of tea. I started watching it with a ready heart but it unfortunately didn’t move me that much.

I am also a sucker for fiery passionate romance but too was lacking. It seemed as though there was a lot of potential in this show but it hasn’t fulfilled that potential to the fullest. I don’t really know how to comment on the romance because it was very confusing and just dull.

The looks of the cast were alright. The story is decent but it didn’t move me as much as I would have hoped in any aspects of it. I get weirded out when a historical drama be wearing long ass pins and needles on their body as a costume but I was hoping that all the other factors I am looking for could make up for that and it didn’t. The love triangle makes no sense to me nor was it swoony. It was like it’s fine if she didn’t end up with either and that’s exactly what happened she didn’t. Sigh....

I probably won’t rewatch it. But it’s decent for others who doesn’t look out for these things or perceive the show as I do.
