I saw the anime version and I pretty liked it. When the movie came out, I heard some bad reviews and I think I kind of understand why. By the way I liked this movie. The special effects are great and all that. I don't think that the movie is not as good as the anime, it's just a little bit different. The thing is the movie is a way too short and the actions are too fast. This fact is probably the weak part of the movie. For this reason I recommend to start watching the anime first. You will probably more understand as the anime is more detail. In my opinion, if you have not seen the anime, then you have to watch it. If you have not seen the movie, then you have to watch it. I enjoyed the both of them and the work is well done. 8.0/10
