The Female lead is Slow??
Am going to blame everything that went wrong in this drama on the writer,this would have been a very good drama if they had just made the FL a little smarter,like a tiny bit.I watched this drama after seeing "The Only Girl You Havent seen"
Both FLs are doctors of some sought and they are both revenge driven,its just that in "TOGYHS" the Fl got her strength and smartness from her drive (Revenge).
I understand,every FL cant be the same,you guys made Daisy li's character so shallow and gullible 🤦🏽 like common !!
Wang zuyi and Daisy li did good,i think they would have done better if the writer had something better for them and its because of the leads the drama got the rating 7/10

The more you watched,the more confusing it gets??
A perfect example of good actors cant save a drama, or story ,they really did their best but... It just didnt help the drama all.Never watched a drama that was so incompete,it was butchered to bits with plenty parts removes from it🙍 ,as in every hole you can think of loop hole,pot hole,shallow and deep hole all in one drama .... Bai liu's celestial powers was sealed,did she unseal it,when? Dont get me started about the ending,haba nau! What was that?🙄
On a better note,the ML and FL chemistry was good,saw the hate to love from the FL and the mature show of affection from MlL,their bickering was not long and annoying but fun to watch,the flow was good,2nd lead Couple was also good, they had a better plot/end than the main lead Couple,they also did welll,Minster Fan also tried his best 😩,he was one the reasons i watched to the end,would have dropped a long time ago,all the actors did well
Drama setting was nicely done ,i loved those dragon pillars ,they were very imposing, was expecting them to come to life when the emperor was fighting,like protect the king 🤔,then the office of astrology ,was beautiful
Costume was colourful and beautiful from yebei to tianqi,nothing too heavy for the army.
This would have been a good drama with 30episodes ,but instead gave us 25 scattered episodes,a waste of good acting.🙄

REALLY THRILLING
This drama is one those action drama that keeps you at the edge of your seat,like if you blink you might miss a detail. Beautyful story to thrill its viewers to end,when watching this drama,i felt ,i knew how it would end,like yea,i solved the case ... Naaaa i wasnt even close 😀😀😀Lovely cast,they all did well, good acting ,good chemistry and good show of emotions ,the anger,the suspense,plot twist was good,i loved they included the power play in religious groups , over all, the casts all did well,its a good thrilling drama to watch,it gets you clued and curious with every episode,i liked it,if you are into the thriller genres,you will definitly enjoy this drama.

A RETABLE and DEBATABLE Drama
I LOOOVE this drama,you know you are watching a good drama when everyone in the house is watching it with you,i know its 63 episodes 😃 which seems like a lot,its just to allow you understand each plot.Every character is relatable,it became a debate in the house,like who should be blamed,did Run Yue go overboard,how much empathy does he deserve? I still have divided house though 😀 ,then the chemistry of the ML and FL was good and all the Supporting actors ,👌🏼beautiful acting,you could feel their pains,there was a point we had to remind ourselves that, its drama,because we could not stop the tears,😭? this is one of those dramas that you keep as "a must watch drama",i love it and am sure,i will watch again and we are still talking about it,so i highly reccomend it👍🏼

Unnecessity
Never fast forwarded a drama the way i did with this drama... Too much unnecessities,they made the ML too impulsive,they tried making the Fl smart and dull at the same time,like common🤷🏽 unnecessary misunderstandings that dragged for too long,there were so many avoidable issues,plenty cliches,if they had made it a 16 episode drama it would have been just fine,eventhough there were so much holes and gaps ,i think the only time i did less fast forwarding was the last 3 episodes,what happened to Li Cogwen and the commendary princess Shen?Vond je deze recentie nuttig?

How smart and intelligent are you?
This is one lovely piece of work,i thank God i didn't fall for the urge to drop this drama. The production team of this drama did an amazing job,the cinematography was beautiful,lovely storyline,it is a well paced drama.Now the first half,were you see the game of intelligence and smartness being played,yea, yea,it could gets tiring i know,but its actually worth watching😃,its progreses after each episodes.
The cast was amazing,all roles were played and interpreted well,i enjoyed watching them especially old bao,am still angry he died🤧🤧, then chang er 😀 the bromance was a delight
Xu kai never let his fans down,he did what he normally does as a fantastic actor but my shout out is to the FL beautiful Jing Tian,she embodied this role,i love the character she played,yes am her new fan 😀
Their chemistry in this drama was beautiful and mature,it was neat,i love it.
Finally... its only few dramas that can boast of a satisfying ending,what happened after the happy ending,how did they live their lives in their happy ever after,now this drama gave me the most satisfying happy ending ever,not some rushed ending. To everyone infront and behind the camera of this drama... Thank you,you all did great 👍🏼❤

Pause to catch your breath
I have never laughed this hard before,even when i go for comedy shows... Oh my! From the begining to the end ,the comic tempo was consistent,everyone had their own comedic story to bring to the drama,from ML to SR they all did so well,i was basically laughing and falling from my sofa to the floor 😂😂 even the serious scenes was also funny,i wonder how they managed to keep a serious face while shooting🤣🤣 i enjoyed every bit,its one of those dramas you keep to rewatch ,especially on a gloomy day.Vond je deze recentie nuttig?

Is Destiny in our hands?
I enjoyed this drama 👍🏼,its not fast paced but well put together,the schemings and plot twist were not over the top or scattered,if you are not into political drama you will find it draggy,but over all it a lovely series.Casting was good,i liked the pairings,,great acting from the leads to supporting actors,good interpretations of roles,,you could see character growth as you watch, its a drama i would like to rewatch😀
Now were i had tiny issue... The Ending,i wanted more from it,i was waiting for Gu jiu si's father to show up , 🤷♀️ then general Qin,she didn't need to die,imagine if she was made the only survivor while protecting the Zhou family ...those 2 roles showing up would have given the drama a grandier ending imo 😀😀...

It's Intriguing
I don't think I have ever seen any drama that I want to leave as it is cos it was that perfect,but still wanted more,I knoow,it sounds ridiculous ,if you watch,you will understand .😄😄😄You get sucked in from the first episode and it makes you yearn for more even after the last episode...
The intrigues,suspence ,the romance between the first lead couple,the sincerity of their feelings and how it's best to follow your heart and look beyond the physical, that was beautiful to watch, their chemistry was good, beautiful acting. Then the second lead couple good acting as well, telling us that if the physical is all we see,we can get blinded and not see what's in front of us and all that passion is all smoke not fire😀😀
I love the comedic relief, military adviser😆😆😆 and funbao , everyone did well,I enjoyed this drama,it's a short drama and I wasn't confused,🤷 there
were opportunities to make it longer,but it's fine as it is,so it's a 9:5 for me. 😊

Another one from @sonme 's list ,so far sooo good 😄😄 This drama is one of those dramas you watch and question and guess what the last scene of the last episode was about,like i was literaly talking to myself😆😆
It deserves a second season,like yes,i need closure😂😂,same cast because they were all fantastic .
I like how they balanced the drama,the investigative with a little romance and bromance,the fight scenses was good,levitating was eermm.... ok could be better.
I like the story,how everything from the begining got tied up neatly at the end ,like wow ! No cliches

1 I want to know what happened to Ming yu when she got back to her sect,will her father be satisfied with just the crsytal and will she be happy.

Too Much
Started this drama with high hopes maybe hence the disappointment,it kind of makes me remember the early days of C action dramas were everything was about kungfu supremacy and revenge,then the lip movement was different from the audio 😃😃The story was too scattered for me,too many sects,so one can hardly keep up,was confused at a point😃😃 from braclet to neck piece,map
The cast and crew did well,the story was just too ambiguous for me,i tried🤷🏽 but decieded to drop it at episode 35.
