I never wanted the evil to be good this badly
First of all: I started this drama in the evening, it is currently 1 am and I could not stop until now.The acting is amazing, the characters are twisted and divers. This drama is sexy, evil and absolutely fantastic. There is also a lot of cursing, and explicit language, which makes it more relatable.
As other pointed out before, yes, there could be more depth when it comes to the history of the characters. But on the other hand I do like dramas to be a little open, so I do not only get entertained but involved.
It’s been a while since I was attached to a drama, nevertheless this one made me feel things. It makes you question yourself. Well, at least it did for me. How evil am I, emphasizing with human beings killing others? How can I stay so calm, engaged, because of two people connecting, even tho the outcome can not only be good.
I feel like the drama shows (myself) that all we want is to have a connection with others. In the end we are all lonely, pulling on the last string. And the loneliest, those who understand this the most, can take advantage of it. In the end, they still search for it to end. No matter what the price might be.

Action but with heart
Not a big Action fan, but if you love driving you will love this one, the driving scenes will keep you at the edge of your seat. Loved the anti racism education, very subtle from the side character. A little to bloody for me, so you might skip those scenes. But well thought out Leads and characters. All in all a good movie to watch, The end was a bit unrealistic but this is just my opinion. The boys character was played amazing. Laughing or crying, he did an amazing job. The main female lead was not only beautiful but cool and tough with a heart out of gold. Simple and Beautiful
I have to agree and disagree with some of the other reviews. I agree, that it would be great, to know more background info on open ends. More character insights on the side cast and the main one BUT, let’s be real about one thing that annoys the hell out of me:BLs do not get enough screentime. I mean, not even close. Episodes are 3-4 times shorter as well as there are mostly 8-10 EP while in other Dramas there are at least 12-16. So the time to actually tell the story in detail is limited. I am glad there is another season, looking forward to it. I loved the chemistry, the hate-love, I liked the characters and I enjoyed how they were displayed from the actors. So thank you for your hardwork, and hopefully, one day, you get as much recognition.

Most realistic unrealistic drama
Okay, a very little spoiler. I cried my eyes out at the end of the first season. Still have to watch the second one, that is why I rewatched it just now. I still love it. The whole cell thing can get a bit annoying sometimes, but it adds so much insight to the characters. I love them all. The main and the side characters. And I love the realness. Showing all human emotions in such a fun way to understand. Can’t help but being hopeless romantic though. This show is def worth every minutes, especially if you are a little tired of the normal kdrama scene. You will get your love and jealousy and side characters. But you will also get normal relationship issues, some can be solved, some can’t. Like daily lifes. There is so much more behind than what we can see/hear and feel.Vond je deze recentie nuttig?

I have been watching KDramas for a while now, and I would not consider this one as a kdrama, nevertheless, I feel the struggles through generations of what happened before and after war, occupations etc. is not been talked about enough. That is why I am so happy about this show. I have yet to read the book, since yes, there are some loose strings in the show, also some confusion with the time jumps. Anyway, the acting is amazing, the feelings are real for this one. Made me ugly cry, for the pain and the losses people had to endure.Vond je deze recentie nuttig?
