This drama is not strangers to lovers but more of acquaintances to lovers.

This starts off by showing us that the leads are acquaintances and how ML wanted FL to help him get together with her best friend in the past. They didnot show anything about what went on with the ML and FL's friend which saved us a lot of time to understand and focus more on the leads . The writers eliminated the crap and gave us what we want by showing bits and pieces of past story.

I did not understand why the leads behaved the way they behaved after FL's confession but the latter episodes answered all of my questions and helped me understand each of their personalities better. For me, this definitely stands out from the other crush based C-dramas and FL though crazy for TangYu , after being rejected she did not let go of her self worth and focused on what is right for her.

The chemistry between the leads is LIT!!! Both of them are bold and aggressive in expressing their feelings. Their scenes together will give you butterflies and they created some iconic scenes.

ML's mother character was very adorable and liked her whenever she was on screen. The other side characters or couples didnot interest me much and skipped most of their scenes. The intro song and its lyrics are good .

Overall, if you are into C-dramas with dreamy scenes and mature yet romance . Give this a try !!
