not for everyone
I just finished watching 'Vincenzo' and I have to say, it was...fine. It was a solid, middle-of-the-road drama that didn't really blow me away, but didn't disappoint me either. Unfortunately, it did kind of bore me at times. The cast was good, with Song Joong-ki and Jeon Yeo-been delivering decent performances. Song Joong-ki was charming as always, but I felt like he was playing a similar character to his previous roles. He had great chemistry with Jeon Yeo-been, though, and their romance was sweet. Jeon Yeo-been was a highlight for me, she brought a lot of energy and charm to her character. I also appreciated how the supporting cast added depth to the story.
The story was interesting enough, with some twists and turns that kept me engaged. But, I felt like it was a bit predictable and didn't have any major surprises. The pacing was a bit slow at times, and some episodes felt like they dragged on. I also felt like some plot points were resolved too easily or conveniently.
One thing that did stand out to me was the themes of social justice and corruption. I appreciated how the drama tackled these issues and shed light on the darker side of society. It was refreshing to see a drama take on these topics and not shy away from the harsh realities.
The cinematography was nice, with some pretty shots of Italy and Korea. But, I felt like the editing could have been better, some scenes felt disjointed and didn't flow well. Some of the action scenes were also a bit choppy and hard to follow.
The OST was fine, nothing really stood out to me. I didn't find myself humming any of the songs or feeling particularly moved by the music. It wasn't bad, just forgettable.
Overall, 'Vincenzo' was an okay watch for me, but it did kind of bore me at times. It didn't wow me, and I wouldn't watch it again. If you're looking for a light, easy watch with some nice scenery and a decent story, 'Vincenzo' might be up your alley. but,if your looking for something more complex. Thought-provoking, or emotionally resonant, you might want to look somewhere else

It's a thoughtful exploration of mental health, trauma, and the human condition. The cast, led by Park Seo-joon and Kim Tae-hee, deliver outstanding performances that will make you laugh and cry. Park Seo-joon shines as the lovable but troubled protagonist, bringing depth and nuance to a character that could have easily been one-dimensional. Kim Tae-hee is equally impressive, bringing warmth and vulnerability to her role.
The supporting cast is just as excellent, with standout performances from the actors who play the protagonist's friends and family. The writing is superb, with characters that feel like real people and relationships that are authentic and relatable.
What I loved most about 'Snopdrop' is how it tackles tough topics with sensitivity and nuance. It's not afraid to show the messiness and complexity of life, but also offers hope and healing. I just finished watching 'Alice in Borderland', and I'm still reeling from the intense ride that it took me on. This drama is like a dark, twisted wonderland that sucks you in and refuses to let go. The cast, led by Kento Yamazaki and Tao Tsuchiya, deliver performances that are both haunting and mesmerizing. Yamazaki's portrayal of Arisu is particularly impressive, as he brings depth and nuance to a character that could have easily been one-dimensional.The story is a complex web of mystery and suspense, with plot twists that will keep you guessing until the very end. Just when you think you have a handle on what's going on, the drama throws in another curveball that will leave you reeling. It's a true thrill ride that will keep you on the edge of your seat.

this film will stay with you
"Monster" is a masterful film that defies genre classification. On the surface, it appears to be a horror movie, with eerie music and unsettling visuals. But as the story unfolds, it reveals itself to be a deeply human and emotionally resonant exploration of the complexities of human nature.
this film tells the story of a young boy who is ostracized by his classmates and struggles to find connection and understanding. As the story progresses, we see how this boy's experiences shape him and lead him down a dangerous path. But the film also explores the perspectives of the other characters, revealing the depth of their own struggles and pain.
The performances in the film are outstanding, particularly from the child actors who bring a raw and honest vulnerability to their roles. The cinematography is stunning, capturing the isolation and loneliness of the characters with haunting beauty. they are possibly the best child actors I've seen.
The direction by director Naoki Kato is skillful and assured, weaving together multiple storylines and themes with ease. The score by composer Takashi Kako is equally impressive, adding depth and atmosphere to the film without overpowering it.
this film will stay with you long after the credits roll. It's a powerful exploration of the human condition, a reminder that we are all complex and flawed individuals struggling to find our way in the world. It's a film that challenges us to confront our own biases and assumptions, and to seek understanding and empathy in the face of adversity. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a thought-provoking and emotionally resonant cinematic experience.
