So, I met someone online who enjoys reading Manga. I didn't know much about it, but it sounded interesting, and similar to anime which I had watched in the past, so I asked her to tell me more about it. She started telling me about one she was reading where a guy became a pet. That sounded totally bizarre to me, then she mentioned that it had also been made into a drama. Kimi Wa Petto. At that point, I hadn't even heard of dramas, so this was also a new world to explore. She sent me the DVD as a gift, and I watched it. While watching, I became a Matsumoto Jun fan, and wanted to see what else he was in. So my next drama to view was Hana Yori Dango. This was years ago, so I hope I'm remembering this right! Then I found out that I could watch the F4 dramas in different cultures, as well. Korean and Taiwanese were the next ones I viewed. While I started watching Japanese dramas, it wasn't long before I began focusing on Korean dramas, and now I have such a long list to view!! My favorite drama to date is Goblin, although I have watched quite a few other dramas that have also been very good. Watching dramas is one of my favorite hobbies, and I don't even watch American TV anymore, and haven't, for years. I don't miss it.
