Missed the golden time
You can't watch this show now. This was the show which introduced me to kdrama, cried a lot , hated Kang Maru a bit but still wanted him to be happy. I watched this show in 2019( that means no Covid PTSD and more attention span) and the song "Jeongmal" still gives me goosebumps. Haven't re-watched the show as it holds a special meaning in both my heart and mind and I don't want to judge the show. This was released in 2012 so you can imagine the pace and revenge plot. If you want to feel the old kdrama style definitely watch but don't compare it to the new kdramas. And of course Song joong ki is GOATVond je deze recentie nuttig?

No respect for the author.
This show was not supposed to be made. The novel which it is adapted from was not suitable for making a kdrama. It was simply a intellectual novel with lots of effort spent on research.........The novel felt real......And then we have a same old chaebol drama with Song joong ki made to portray a cheeky too smart irritating character. Disgrace to the author and the fans who read the novel. All what the director and writers did was copy the plot and removed any 'fillers' which made everything make sense and released it. If you are korean please do not watch this and read the novel. As for non-koreans there is no proper translation after 20 chapters.The novel is 'Youngest Son of Sunyang'
