I didn't watch season 1

I wasn't aware that this was a season 2 (or a reboot, I guess). I've really enjoyed what I've seen so far, as it's a funny show with a fun premise and characters.
However, I understand why some fans of the first season may not like it (based on the synopsis of the 1st season I saw, it's basically the same things with a few minor changes to plot; minor for me, for people who watched both, probably not lol)
My advice is either to completly forget about the other season or maybe try to look at as different shows....
