My most favorite historical drama
The show kept me loving it from the very first moment to the last. At first I hesitated to start watching it as it had 20 episodes and runtime of almost 80 minutes. Now I'm sad why it ended so quickly. I'm glad to know it'll have another season. Hope they'll bring a sequel along with the prequel. I'd love to see all the actors playing the same roles again. The story with all those twists and turns was so entertaining to watch. It's a perfect package of action, romance, comedy, emotion, mystery, thriller and so on. music was awesome too. I was really tensed when there was so much to reveal but only 2 eps were left and was afraid as well thinking they might ruin the end. I can sleep peacefully now that I know it had a perfect ending and ended with a cliffhanger.I loved all the characters so much. Normally I'm not fond of second leads. But in this drama I loved Jang Uk, Seo Yul, Crown Prince equally, also Young Lady Heo. none of the second leads were toxic and were always supporting. Cinematography was topnotch. kudos to the vfx team.
In the last moment, when I saw Jang Uk die, I literally had tears in my eyes ( I don't cry easily) I don't remember when I was this sad while watching any series' or movies'. I'm now glad to know that he's alive. Hope Naksu is also alive. I hope for their happy ending in the next season.

I'm disappointed that they didn't end up together
This would've been my most favorite drama of the year. I loved the chemistry between Yumi and Ba Bi sooo much. I knew from the webtoon that they wouldn't end up together. But I didn't lose hope. I hate the writer so much. She shouldn't have ruined the character of Ba Bi. If she didn't, I would've said, BA BI IS THE BEST MALE LEAD IN THE WHOLE KDRAMA LAND. But I'm heart broken. Rating it 7 for the scenes I've loved. I'm not even looking forward to watching the 3rd season, if there'll be one.People might say, this is supposed to be educative that one has got only him/herself. I'm a simple girl. I watch drama mainly for the chemistry. So lesson doesn't really matter to me. I felt sad for Woong too. poor guy loved Yumi very much. If he ended up with Yumi, I wouldn't be this sad.

This is an absolute masterpiece
I watched this drama last year. but writing the review now ?This drama is so underrated. I think every kdrama lover should watch this drama at least once. I always recommend my non kdrama lover friends this drama. Because I know they'll love it and they end up doing so.
This drama will keep you engaged till the end of the show. So many twist and turns. The story, the acting, the cast, everything is perfect. The best thriller drama for me ❤️ Watch it if you haven't already.

I don't understand why it's so underrated!!
I started watching this drama with 0 expectation. I've watched a lot of Chinese dramas. Thought it'd be like any other high school dramas (didn't read plot summary at first). But it was beyond my expectations. I've really enjoyed a cdrama this much after a really long time. The chemistry between the main leads, the characters of the 2nd leads, their friendship everything was perfect. Watch it if you haven't already. I bet you'll love it. Zhao Yi Qin, Li Hao Fei, Zhou Da Wei, Huang Xin Yao and all other supporting actors did an amazing job. Happy watching ?✨Vond je deze recentie nuttig?

When I'm asked, what's the most perfect drama you've watched, I answer Descendants of the sun. What does this drama not have? Action, romance, friendship, comedy, thriller, slice of life, emotion, music etc everything!! The chemistry between the main leads and also the chemistry of other couples are too breathtaking. Song Song are my most favorite couple, though they're no longer together. Still the fact that once they were together makes me happy. And the songs!! DOTS has the best album, change my mind <3 The fact that this drama shows us a slice of doctor and soldier's hard work, gas my respect. This is the only drama I never mind rewatching.
