Excruciatingly painful, but worth watching
This show is not fun to watch as it touches very hard realities of human existence, but I still recommend it (unless you're triggered by any kind of abuse scenes), the acting is superb, everyone did a great job in their role. The atmosphere of it reminded me of the british series Skins, only with more tragic lines and almost zero comic relief. It portrays very well how easily and quickly the lives of otherwise precious, talented and kind hearted kids can go downhill if adults around them don't take good care of them. Heartbreakingly realistic.

The plot is like an Ementali cheese - it is full of holes...
This movie (and it's previous part) has a strong cuteness factor, since the leading actors did a good job with what they'd got and they are both sweet, but the story is just a mess. Obviously, when it comes to TV shows, they don't have to be 100% realistic, but they still have to be believable and logical in their own frame - this movie didn't manage to do it.We have Golf, who faked his death - why? What was the purpose of it? And how come all the friends at school knew it's fake death, but neither them nor Bank's mom had the decency to tell Bank the truth? Where did the baby from the end of the first movie disappear? If Golf was in contact with at least some people from home during the 5 years, how did he not know that Bank entered a relationship? Etc... - I have the impression that when they made the 1st movie, they didn't know they'd have a 2nd, so when they eventually decided to make one, they were struggling with finding out how to "resurrect" Golf for a happy end, and how to get there. The movie didn't really have a story, just a bunch of people with ununderstandable motivations for there unlikely behaviour, and this way even the happy end didn't bring much catharsis.

Sweet as honey
It was a lovely movie, even though by the end it got way too dramatic (in hardcore soap opera style, it was too much for my taste; knowing there's a second part, I didn't even expect Golf's death - now I know it will turn out to be fake, but still...)I hope the next part will have a happy ending: I want to see Golf and Bank back together, I want them to get the apologies they both deserve from their family, I want to see Auntie dearest being told to mind her own business and f# off :P

Doctor <3 Angel
A pleasent and light love story between an angel and a doctor - since it is was only 6 episodes long, the emotions came pretty quickly without a really strong basis (why do they love each other that much?), but it was still fun to watch. Nothing extra special, but lovely. (The deliberatly silly overacting parts with the special effects I didn't like though, this kind of humour is just not for me.)Vond je deze recentie nuttig?

Too much soap opera vibe
As much as I love OhmFluke, this time they didn't get a good story (which is not their fault, but it makes the show less enjoyable than their other ones). The amnesia card is already something that can make me run out of this world, so the story already started with a disadvantage, and other than that it had so many unrealistic and soap opera like parts that I just couldn't take seriously, at many parts where the scene was supposed to be dramatic it became ridicuolous instead. Those characters who had a crush on someone who couldn't return their feelings behaved horribly (especially the guy who chased Kim, his personality was terrible), it was really irritating to watch and I didn't understand the drama there - Kids! People don't owe you their love just because you have a crush on them, they have the right to reject you! It's a bummer, but not the end of the world! C'mon!
Then comes the villain, who's evil, because... she wants the company, and that's it. We know how crazily evil she is because she looks really-really angry and grasps her bag tightly every now and then - she's also rather laughable than scary.
There were some heartwarming scenes though, and the music I really liked, but I'm glad this is not the first show I watched with the leading actors because if it were I might have not been that interested in their other works afterwards. They can do much better with a good script.

Sweet
I watched this show years ago as my very 1st korean drama, and I absolutely loved it. Even though it took way too much time and many unnecessary drama for the main characters to get to their happy ending, I enjoyed watching the show, it's almost miraculous how cathartic it can be in Asian series when a couple finally touch each others hands for the first time, hug each other for the first time, kiss each other for the first time (preferably on the forehead or cheeks first, lips touching is just so extreme :P - it seems a bit laughable, but honestly, sometimes I wouldn't mind if we could slow down to this gentleness in real life too when it comes to love relationships).I recommend it for all youth with a romantic heart! <3

School of psychopaths
I'm afraid I am too old for this show, if I had watched it as a teenager, I might have enjoyed it more. The show can be divided into two parts - one before the viewers find out who God is, and the aftermath. The 1st part could keep up interest, but then it became quite boring. Plot twists could have been exciting in a balanced amount, but here there were too many, instead of making the story interesting they made it impossible to take it seriously.
Here are the bits I find worthy of criticism:
1./ In youth action series it's natural that teenagers are unrealistically tough and in the end they save the day instead of all the incapable adults. But from the teacher's perspective (Mr. Wanpadej) it's incredibly irresponsible to form a group like Blacklist, when he already knows how serious problems the school has, and how dangerous it is to dive into it, putting students lives at risk on this level is too unrealistic and it also made Mr. Wanpadej not loveable, I couldn't cheer for him the same way I do with a character who is relatable for me. The students themselves came to the conclusion that they'd been used, and Mr. Wanpadej doesn't deny it in the end, sooo....
2./ I didn't expect this much agression and blood, even among the students, many times unnecessarily. Blacklist was supposed to be the group of the good guys, but sometimes they themselves became bullies for the "greater good", that's not a good message. An average school with mostly normal kids and teachers and only some misfits would have been more credible, here the school was full of psycho type criminals, students and teachers alike.
3./ Ms Jinmanee - a twist that was too much, without basis and unrealistic again - a woman who is raped in her teen years becoming a sexual abuser towards girls who are just like she was? Really? In the end, it turns out that she abused Traffic's sister, kept her a sexual slave at her home, she attempted killing another student (Viking), then she almost did the same to Melon - and what's her destiny in the end? Wanpadej and the girl students go like "Oh, we all make mistakes, please, turn back to being the teacher we loved (even though now we know it was just a disguise), we love you..." - WTF? The woman is a perverted psychopath, not a single bit better than the maffia principal, she shouldn't have been allowed to just move away, she should have been locked up for life, maybe not in prison but a psych ward. (None of her victims turned to the police in the end? How???)
4./ We didn't see much of the kids home lives - how could they do all the Blacklist activity after school time? None of them had parents who treated them like the actual kids they're?
Etc., etc.
On the positive side, the actors are clearly talented, their romantic bits were sweet, and they played well with what they've got - it's not the first time I write this in a review, the more thai series I watch, the more time I have the impression that the actors could do much better if it weren't for all the immature/just plainly bad scripts. The basic ideas of the stories are usually good (that's why I start to watch the shows), but how they are built up in the end is not that pro. Dramaturgy expert teachers wanted!!! :P

What on Earth have I just watched?
The English title "Ghost Ship' is a bit misleading, since the ghosts were more like zombies, but whatevs... The headline of my review expresses well how I felt when I reached the end of the movie, it gave me the exact same vibes as The Dawn of the Dead many years ago. It was too ridiculous to be scary, but I think it was deliberate (it's a horror comedy after all), at some points I felt like the movie parodized itself. I don't regret watching it, but I don't think I'd ever rewatch. (To be fair, horror is not my genre to begin with, every now and then I like to watch one, but then I can go for years without missing it, so... It's not that bad, just not my cup of tea.)Vond je deze recentie nuttig?

Sweet <3
Just as sweet as I expected after watching Until we meet again - it just can't go wrong with these characters (and the actors who bring them to life), they are all so loveable. :)The Bee-Prince and Wan-T. couples' story lines I wasn't that much interested in, but they were okay, the only thing I didn't like in this show is that they made Hia Win's younger brother act like a 5 year-old, for me it was more annoying than cute. I suppose he was "made" to be like this for comical effect, but argh... too much, too silly. Other than that, it was an absolute joy to watch, fit for rewatching.

Looks unfinished...
It was okay, but I have to confess I didn't always understand what was going on - when I did, it became kinda predictable though :PThe "fright level" was just fine (not boringly low, but not too high to give you nightmares either), the acting was good, the ending of the last episode leaves the door opened to a possible 2nd season. If it is to be continued, I'd watch it to have better closure (I'd really like to see a happy ending for Nai, the character deserves much more than what he got in these 14 episodes), but a rewatch is not likely.

Heartmelt Level 1.000.000.000 :)
I absolutely loved this show, rewatched it many times since we first "met".The story is a unique mixture of heartbreak and cuteness and funny moments, the acting is great (Pharm's character in Fluke's performance is so adorable that he makes my heart melt in almost every single scene), the music is moving and beautiful, I pretty much loved everything about it. (I guess it's the perfect recipe for a successful TV show - at least for me -: touching story with beautiful and loveable characters at beautiful scenes with beautiful music and mouth wateringly good looking food as an extra; this show had all of it!)
It might make you tear up at some points, but it has lighter, comic parts too where you just can't stop smiling, it's sweet as honey. I recommend it with good heart! <3
