such a good drama to end 2023 with!
This is one of the best drama I've watched and it's going straight on my top 10 favourites out of the 200 I've watched/skimmed through/dropped since I fell into CDramaland 2,5 years ago.There's everything I can ask for this type of drama: solid acting from the whole cast, good character writing, good cinematography and music.
There's humour, emotional moments, healthy relationships, interesting female characters, beautiful friendships/bromance/female solidarity, welcomed twists on overused clichés and beautiful fight scenes.
I was watching it for LYN and I'm not disappointed at all, he's good at picking his acting projects and is really good in this, as is the whole cast. (even the "weaker" actings are so much better than in most of the CDrama I've watched.)

do not waste your time
This drama upsets me enough to make me leave a review...I was excited because I loved Zhu ZanJin's acting in CQL and his styling was nice in the previews of this show. I dropped it 3 times, only suffering it for ZZJ.
The FL is so clueless it's annoying, the plot makes absolutely no sense, the main pair has zero chemistry, mainly because of Li HongYi's lack of facial expressions. It's the 3rd drama I've seen with him in and -it's only my personal opinion- he can't act to save his life and unfortunately he's the ML.
ZZJ is the only one who was half-decent in showing some emotions despite how bad his character is written but even that couldn't make this bearable.
Qi PeiXin's acting hasn't improved a bit since CQL, so bad I just wanna punch something every time he shows up.
So, unless you're a fan of LHY's, no need to waste your time.

Beautiful tales about grief and healing.
Ah it feels so good to watch something with really good writing and acting! (especially after 5 or 6 very disappointing CDrama that made me almost drop drama watching)I just finished the drama in two days and am going to rewatch it right away!
I was a little worried at first that the topics would be triggering but it's never too much, as most of the Taiwanese productions. The perfect balance of fun, poetic and emotional moments.
It's a *Ghost Whisperer* kind of stories with Taiwanese lores and a grumpy, reluctant and thug-ish tsundere ML.
the enemies to friends (b)romance is very entertaining.
The female characters are very good, I especially love ML's mother.
I hope there will be another season (or more).

it's actually so much better than what I was expecting
Came for Liú Tao & Liú YûNíng, wasn't expecting much but found a good women centric story. The lead ladies are very good, their characters are well written and the whole cast is working well.LYN's good for his first time as modern drama ML, I'm happy that he's getting more various works.
The romance lines are not the main focus, which I always appreciate in the writing, in fact I was even impatient to get to it! 😆
the ending is as expected in its amatonormativity but it's CDramaland so....😅
