I placed any potential spoilers at the end of this review. This has such an impactful story. It shines a light on the many misconceptions about gay men that society has and how everyone deals differently with confronting it. At the same time, it breaks some stereotypes some may have on certain communities. The acting was outstanding and the cinematography was beautiful. The script was excellent and had a very realistic ending. I only have three criticisms. See the potential spoiler alert at the bottom if you want more info.
******Potential Spoiler Alert******
1st criticism: This is supposed to be a sequel to a series (His - I Didn't Think I Would Fall in Love), but it has no real link to it. It does use the same main characters’ names and gives silent nods to the series (choice of clothing colors for the main characters for example), but that’s it.
2nd criticism: The movie does not completely explain the main characters past relationship. You have to rely on the movie’s description for this (hence the 3rd criticism).
3rd criticism: The description of the move does not completely match what happens in the movie. It mentions various things but does not actually show it in the movie. However, this seems to be a common thing on Viki.

Must watch to left-up your spirit
If you are looking for a lighthearted movie, this is the one for you. This has a beautiful and heartwarming storyline. The script was wonderful and not overly dramatic. You should definitely watch this if you need something to left you up. The series also feels complete, not like some series/movies that introduce a random conflict and even more random conflict resolution. The music was great which is good considering it is about the music industry. They were also good with the music placement throughout the movie. The cinematography was beautiful and they did a really good job with the transition scenes.Random note: I watched this on Netflix (it’s listed as Wish You) not knowing this was a BL series turned into a movie. If you have a subscription to Netflix, I would recommend watching it on that. The English subtitles are better on Netflix.

The positive: The cast was great. They did a great job with what they were given. I also like the ending and how they tied up the many storylines.
The negative: It does not know if it should be a comedy or a drama. It seems they did not know which direction to go. There is also no clear main story idea. The script is a bit of a mess and had some discrepancies. Another problem is the logic in the series does not make sense at times. I was also able to predict who was involved with the “mystery” behind the children.
Random note: I watched this series first before I watched the 2008 South Korean film Antique (it’s listed as Antique Bakery on MDL). Baker Boys is not a perfect series but I enjoyed watching it more than the movie.

Great, except for one thing
Warning: This series does deal with the subject of suicide. I know this is a spoiler, but I feel this is an important thing to know before you start watching the series.I placed all other spoilers at the end of this review.
This series is not for you if you don’t like paranormal storylines. However, this has a very endearing storyline about the different aspects of family and relationships. It also sends a message about the dangers of not communicating with loved ones. It has an excellent script with one exception. See the spoiler alert at the bottom if you want more info. They did a great job switching between the past and the present. The series has an incredible cast with great acting. I like how they kind of made a parody of GMMTV in various episodes and involved some of the artist playing themselves.

My only criticism about the script is the soul displacement. I’m not a fan of the soul displacement/shift storyline concept. This aspect of the script caused an unnecessary conflict of having people questioning Tonmai and Tee’s sexuality. This was an element of the series that was really unneeded.

A Zombie Fan Must Watch
I placed spoilers at the end of this review.If you love the zombie genre, you should watch this series. Not only does it have a solid story concept, it also has a great script. They managed to cover a lot of ground in only 12 episodes. See the potential spoiler alert at the bottom if you want more info. There are also a lot of twists and turns that keep you guessing, but still manage not to confuse you. They did an outstanding job with the cinematograph. The acting was also very good.

They managed to explain why and how the virus was created, and how it was spread. The ending is bittersweet and does have a few loose ends. However, there are hints that there may be a second season. One can only hope.

Just as good in its own way!
I think it is possible to like, or love (in my case), both the Japanese and Thai adaptation of the manga. I know this is not a remake of the original series, but it is hard not to compare it with the Japanese adaptation. I loved that series, but I’m the first to admit that the script had some weak elements.This part is about the series as a standalone without any comparison to the Japanese adaptation of the manga. This was a very good and cute series. They did a great job with the story pacing and introduction of the characters. It was also refreshing to have a more mature BL series with characters that talked to each other about their problems. Overall, the script was good with the exception of episode 8, which was ridiculous. I understand the overall idea behind it, but the execution was not good. Although Rock and Pia’s storyline was cute, this felt out of place and was added as a time filler. However, this was only a minor problem for me because their storyline didn’t take up too much screen time. As for the ending, it was perfect. All of the actors were incredible portraying their character. Great cinematography and music.
This part is comparing the Japanese adaptation. Again, I know the Thai version is not a remake but I would be lying if I didn’t compare both. Originally, my main concern was how they were going to fill 12, 45 minutes long episodes. Thankfully, my fears were relieved as I watched it. The only exceptions are the ones I noted above. The main thing I really liked was the Thai version didn’t completely mirror the Japanese version. For me, this series was able to keep the same charm while creating a way to fit into Thai culture. I really liked the added scenes with Jinta and Min that created more depth to their story and relationship. I thought it was smart, and funny, that Jinta was also able to read the cat’s mind too.
Random Note:
I like the silent nods to the manga.
The Thai adaptation incorporated story content that was used for the Japanese series and movie adaptation of the manga which I think was a very smart move.

Outstanding!!!
I placed spoilers at the end of this review.This was an outstanding series. Overall, the script was nicely done and successfully connected multiple elements and characters together. It had a few weak elements, but it did not distract me from enjoying the series. The first episode did a great job giving brief introduction about mental health, as well as the stigma and prejudice society has about it. It tackled so many aspects of mental health in a very considerate way. This series not only showed how it impacts individuals diagnosed with a metal health disorder, it included how it impacts family members and the medical staff caring for them. The series often used a whimsical/fantasy aspect to help represent certain disorders without it being disrespectful. My only critique is that I was not a fan of the romantic storylines. See the spoiler alert at the end of this review if you want more information. The cast was incredible and did a beautiful job portraying their characters. They did a wonderful job with the cinematography and special effects too.

I anticipated this series since Netflix announced it and happy it didn’t disappoint me.

The romantic storyline between Hwang Yeo Hwan and Min Deu Lae was not bad, but felt a little misplaced within the series. The other romantic storyline was slightly bizarre. The series introduced a love triangle between Dong Go Yoon, Jang Da Eun, and Song Yu Chan in the beginning of the series, but then this completely disappeared by the end. However, I was cool with it because I hate love triangle storylines.

Interestingly Cute
I placed spoilers at the end of this review.So far, this is the best one out of the compilation series. It was very cute and interesting.
The positive: Considering the short running time, this had a well-developed script. It did a great job slowly introducing the characters’ backstories and the pacing of the main story was perfect. The actors did a great job with their characters and portrayed them in a very likable fashion.
The negative: The only negative aspect for me was the conflict scenarios were too predictable. However, this was a minor problem for me.

Even though it had the one story element I hate (love triangle), it wasn’t that bad and was resolved quickly.
Sorry, I already knew that the mother would become a source of a conflict after the first scene. Thankfully it to was quickly resolved.

Nope, Not in 2022
I placed a spoiler alert at the end of this review.This had an ok story concept, but the script had one major flaw for me. I liked episode 1 because it was making fun of BL series using sitcom humor. However, I still noticed some red flags. The biggest flaws with the script pop up during episode 2 which made me drop it. See potential spoiler alert at the end of this review if you want more info. The acting is ok, but it’s hard to gauge this with the poor character/script development. I like the music and found it very catchy.

The first flaw was there is no logic in blaming Kim for the prank when it is very clear that Mek was behind it. The major flaw for why I dropped this was the fact that a college administrator was forcing two students to became a BL couple. She was also the cause of the situation because she filmed and posted it without the student’s consent.

Those Foolish Humans
This was an incredible series. It did a good job grabbing the view’s attention in the beginning, but started off a little rocky. However, this is one series that gets better after each episode. The script is interesting from the start, but it felt like something was missing. This changes by the 5th episode and everything starts to make sense. Some of the characters were unlikable at first, but the script did a great job explaining the reasoning behind their actions. There are also a lot of twists and turns that keep you guessing what is going to happen next. Although there is a slight romance element with some of the characters, it did not overpower the main storyline. The cast was excellent and did a great job with their characters. This also did a great job with the cinematography, special effects, and make-up.Random Note:
There is a possible hint of a second season because the last two scenes can be interpreted as a cliffhanger. If this is the case, I can’t wait to watch it.

You will have to adjust your mindset as you watch it.
I placed spoilers at the end of this review.I usually don’t start with this but it’s important to know the series description on this page (Director’s Cut) is not very accurate. That being said, it would have been hard to write a series description without giving away the main storyline. Although it’s not accurate, it is the best one because the description on GagaOOLala and the MDL page for the regular version are completely wrong.
Overall, this was an awesome series. This may be an unpopular opinion but the main story concept was great. With not given too much away, the beginning of the series started off with episodes (1; 2; 3-4; 5-6) showing standalone storylines using the usual BL concepts. However, all of them are connected in a very unique way. My advice is to pay close attention to the closing credit scene at the end of episode 2 and the extra scene at the end of episode 4 because both did a very good job foreshadowing what the series is really about. The script was good, but it was not perfect. It had a very strong beginning, but became weak around episode 6. At this point the episodes dragged a little and there was some wasted screentime. The entire cast was wonderful. A big kudos for the two main actors because they did an incredible job getting into their characters with each different storyline. I didn’t feel like I was watching them portraying the same character over and over again. It also helped that the styling department did an incredible job creating different looks for the different characters.
Random Notes:
The location used for Namping’s house (episodes 3-4) was also used in the series “Knock, Knock Boys”. The house location used for episodes 5-8 was also used in the following series: “Twins” (Sprite and Zee’s childhood/father’s house), “GAP” (Mon’s house), “Enchanté” (Akk’s house), and “Something in My Room” (Phat’s house).

MDL for the Director’s Cut series description is the best one because it doesn’t give away what the series is really about. However, I did go into this thinking the love story concept involved either reincarnation or multiple alternative universes.
I thought Top and Mick did a great acting job. It is not easy to portray multiple characters, especially in the same series. Not to mention portraying a character that is an actor that is acting on a fictional series set.

A Delightful Meal
This was a great, heartwarming series with a well written script. It did a successful job connecting various characters and their storylines together. I especially loved each costumer’s personal storyline that added more seasoning to the main storyline. This also gave just the right amount of background information of all the characters for an 8-episode series. In fact, this is one of the rare occasions when the story content is a good match for the number of episodes. The cast was great and did an excellent job with their characters. The cinematography, food visuals, and editing were incredible.Random Note:
There is a romance element to the main storyline, but it did not overpower the series.
I like that the series name has a double meaning.
Reasoning for the music rating. The background music and closing songs didn’t hurt the series, but it was not rememberable either.

It was an interesting dream.
I placed spoilers at the end of this review.Overall, this was an enjoyable and interesting series. However, I am a sucker for series that have a supernatural/strange element to it. The script was good for the most part, but needed a little more tweaking and had some very weak aspects towards the end. My main complaint is key information was always misplaced which created some confusing, well for me at least. I recommend being patient because they do eventually reveal the information. The cast did a great job with their characters. I thought Putter did a great job making Yu a very likable character without him being a complete A-Hole. Ryu also did a great job making Ai appear innocent and loveable without being annoying. The cinematography was very good and did a great job keeping the consistency between the scenes involving the two different outcomes (dream version vs reality version) depending on Ai actions.
Random Note:
I went in with low expectations because this is a product of Dee Hup. Their series always seem incomplete and/or never fully hitting the mark at the end. I was very pleasantly surprised how good this series was. Apart from my main complaint and notes in the spoiler alert section, I would definitely rewatch this.
It was cute how they slipped in a quick nod to another Dee Hup series (Lovely Writer) which seems to be a running theme in their series.
If you are not going to show actors actually playing a sport, don’t bother including a match scene.
The English subtitles on GagaOOLala were good with the exception that it didn’t show English subtitles when printed content appears on screen a few times. GagaOOLala did not edit out the break credit between the episode sections.

I liked that they kept the teasing aspect of the relationship to a minimum and ended it by the first episode.
Just a few examples about the misplace of information. One was the age difference between Ai and Yu. I was confused at first because I assumed that Ai and Yu were the same age. This was eventually cleared up later on, but this could have been addressed during the character introduction at the beginning of episode 1. Another was the relationship between the characters. I was a little confusing in the first episode because it introduced a lot of them without fully explaining who everyone was or their relationship between each other. They slowly give this information but they could have found a better way to do it.
Although it was a happy ending and I did enjoy it, it seemed rushed. Once again, they reveal a lot of key information at the very last minute.
Episode 10 came across as very random. I understand the main purpose was to introduce the treat Ice will play, but It could have been written better. It also had so many illogical things about it. If they knew a stalker was roaming around, why was the front door unlocked?
The script for episode 11 was the weakest out of this series. The entire storyline involving the slipping pills was not realistic. I understand they wanted to give a sense of urgency, but no one would have survived that amount of pills Ai used. Not to mention that you do not take medication prescribed to someone else. You also don’t take pills from an unmarked bottle. How did he even know it had sleeping medication?

Need More BL’s Like This
I placed spoilers at the end of this review.This was a very cute series, most of the time. Overall, the script was very good even though it has my least favorite story component in it. My only criticism is the direction of the series took a sharp turn with having overly cute vibes (in the good way) to a more serious vibe. However, the serious tones were handled with care and were not overly dramatic. The entire cast did a great job with making you care about their characters. Kudos to the new actors which held their own with the more seasoned ones. I really enjoyed the songs/music. They did a really great job incorporating this into the series which is a good thing considering the music industry was the overall setting.
Random Notes:
I give them praise for trying to be original with the old “accidental kiss” story gimmick.
I actually liked the animations and sound effects which I usually don’t go for. Both somehow worked and added to the very cute vibe in the beginning.
As always, I love seeing familiar locations from different series.

I’m not a fan of time jumps because it’s usually not used successfully and/or add anything to the storyline. However, it actually served a purpose and was done well here. The first one let us skip the unneeded watch of them going through the Idol process. I must admit I wonder what happened to the A-Hole that cased the conflict at the end of episode 10.
As for the slightly drastic vibe shift, I apricate that they didn’t wait to do this in episode 11. This made the ending, which was perfect, not feel rushed.

???Why 2???
I placed spoilers at the end of this review.This special episode was just like the one for Coffee Melody, cute but unnecessary.
Once again, this had an old concept that was not well executed. It suffered from the same problems that main series had. The pacing was a little off and had long useless filler screentime. The cinematography was stunning, but had some poor background music choices that became annoying. Overall, the acting was ok.
Random Note:
This special episode really was not needed. This could have been easily included into the last episode of the series.
This also had the weird two opening credits.

It was just weird how everyone acted like they were all best friends and that nothing bad happened between them in the main series.
