In both dramas, the FL and the ML live in the same building. The FL does variety TV shows. She invites ML to join the dating reality TV show she's working on. ML and FL fall in love of course. LOL. Oh, and there's another crew member who makes the tough decisions for the show that instigate rivalry and tension among the cast of the dating show. And maybe it's a coincidence but they both have short hair, loved their fashion too. while the FLs have the same long hair and have the same fashion sense. Irrelevant, I know but I couldn't help noticing.

*SPOILER ALERT*

If you've seen these two dramas, you'll understand why I say they're basically the same thing. They have these things in common.
1. The FL is in a sham marriage that was orchestrated for the benefit of the chaebol family they married into. Of course, they didn't know that at the beginning.
2. The FL and an employee of the company fall in love with the employee looking out for the FL.
3. The FL loses her child.
4. FL's husband has a woman who he already had a son with before he got married. He kept secretly meeting with the woman too. The woman pretends to be friends with FL.
5. One of the sons of the family is the son of a secretary who their mum had an affair with.
6. The FL's mother-in-law thinks her closest employee is working for her goal but he's secretly working for himself.

1. Time Travel: Both dramas incorporate time travel as a central plot.

2. Romance: The romantic elements are strong in both series. "A Time Called You" revolves around Han Jun Hee, who is deeply affected by the death of her boyfriend and finds herself in the past, as she makes effort to change the future. Similarly in "Lovely Runner", Ryu Seon Jae's death deeply affects Im Sol and she also finds herself back in the past as she now tries to change the future.
3. Emotional Depth: Both dramas show into the emotional struggles of their characters. "A Time Called You" explores themes of grief and longing, while "Lovely Runner" balances all of that with light comedy.

They're both noona romances.
Same actors (well not all of course just a noticeable few)
Same vibe and kind of music
Same realistic romance
Same directors
And dare I say same red umbrella. It's a paid actor at this point. LOL

Both 'Smile to Life' and 'Sunshine of My Life' have love triangles! The second male lead and the main guy who used to be best friends in each drama have a falling out, which makes things even more complicated when they both fall for the same girl.

- Both dramas involve a male lead who has a dark past and a secret identity related to a psychopath.
- Both dramas feature a female lead who is a police officer and who falls in love with the male lead without knowing his true background. They don't get married in HE IS PSYCHOMETRIC though.

The differences:

- HE IS PSYCHOMETRIC has a supernatural element. The other male lead can read people's secrets through touch, hence the psychometry. FLOWER OF EVIL does not have any paranormal aspects.
- HE IS PSYCHOMETRIC is more light-hearted and humorous at times, while FLOWER OF EVIL is more serious and tense throughout.

I'm pretty sure anyone who has watched Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha was reminded of it while watching Welcome to Samdal-ri simply because they're both healing romance dramas set in a seaside village. They also both feature a female lead who moves from Seoul to the countryside after facing some difficulties in her career.

While watching "Welcome to Samdalri", I was reminded of "Call it Love" because the male lead's father in Welcome to Samdalri was against his relationship with the female lead because of the grievance he had with the female lead's family while in Call it Love, the female lead's family was against her relationship because of the grievance they had with the male lead's family. So, in both dramas the main leads had to struggle through these family issues and heal to finally be together.
However, "Welcome to Samdalri" is lighter and more heartwarming, whereas "Call it Love" has a more serious tone.
So, if you enjoyed the healing aspects of "Welcome to Samdalri," you might find "Call it Love" enjoyable despite its more serious tone.
