Okay... So... to be completely honest I only started watching this drama because Haruma Miura was in it. I didn't read any reviews, synopsis or other cast that's in the movie.

OMG! This was a pleasure to watch!!!!

I binge watched this entire series in two days and I have no regrets watching it. I can't wait to rewatch it with my girlfriends on our next movie night!

Above all this drama is HILARIOUS! I laughed so hard I snorted and then two episodes later I was crying and yelling at the tv. It was an emotional ride and I can't stress enough how much I love this show!

I adored this drama. I had no idea what to expect going into it but as the story started to develop I really got involved with everything that was going on.

There are parts that feel like it's a fanfiction written by a 13 year old but it sort of adds to the charms of the movie. This is the second part of a five part series and after watching this movie I will definitely be checking out the rest of the series.

I've been a big fan of Rurouni Kenshin for ten years now. It was one of the first anime's that I fell in love with and became a fangirl over; so it was a huge leap of faith for me to watch the live action version of the anime that I hold so dear to my heart.

Story:
- Simply put - Amazing. I was so impressed and oddly proud of how closely they followed the original plot and storyline from the anime. Yes there were a few changes due to timing and making sense of Kenshin's backstory but it was so satisfying seeing everything come together. Some scenes in this movie are mirrored perfectly from the anime and that makes me so happy that they were able to make my favorite anime come to life.

Acting/Cast::
-BRILLIANT! When I saw Takeru Sotah as Kenshin I immediately fell in love. The acting is excellent and again they paid close attention to all the small details that I was looking for.

I highly recommend this movie if you enjoyed the anime.
I highly recommend this movie if you enjoy epic sword fights....

Just watch the damn movie!!!!
