Biggest drama dissapointments:
- 1. 49 Days - hated Hated HATED that ending. It was very anti-climactic. But if you ignore the ending, the drama is amazing.
2. Big - failed to deliver anything.
3. Cheongdamdong Alice - Park Shi Hoo's character was the only redeeming point.
4. Cinderella's Sister - no offense against Moon Geun Young, but both #3 and #4 had a lot of plot points I just wanted to rage at the writers for
5. Time slip Dr. Jin - fetus in the brain, anyone? The whole show was a mess...
6. The Best Lee Soon Shin - quit after ep 28. Story line was dragging for 15 episodes, too many downs, no ups. It had a lot of potential...at first. I hoped it would be like Ojakgyu Brothers, heartwarming and sweet, but it is just another makjang. I have been reading dramabeans open-thread for this show, and so far I think I made right decision to quit this show.
7. Jang Ok Jung, Live in Love - turned for the worst after episode 10. I finished it and last 2 episodes were decent, but everything else seemed like a filler. The timeline doesn't match history even closely. They squished twenty or so years into 3-5.
The more plot twists the merrier:
- 1. Kill me, Heal me - after episode 10, it is one plot twist after another. But kind of exciting and puts things into place!
- 2. Nine times time travel - Basically the korean version of butterfly effect.
My favorite Bromances (love-hate one is the best kind):
- 1. Bridal Mask
- 2. School 2013
- 3. Warrior Baek Dong Soo
My favorite couples: Healer, I Hear Your Voice
Dramas I watched more than 3 times. Because twice was not enough
- 1. Dong Yi
- 2. Time between dog and wolf
- 3. Iljimae
- 4. The Princess' Man
- 5. Bridal Mask
- 6. Fated to Love you (Taiwan)
- 7. Coffee Prince
Dramas I wish to re-watch again:
- 1. Healer
- 2. It's Okay, That's Love
- 3. Reply 94/97
- 4. Kill Me, Heal Me
My First Drama: Fated to Love You (Taiwan)
My first Kdrama: Can't remember. Probably East of Eden but it was a wrong choice to be my first KDrama. I would recommend My name is Kim Sam Soon or Coffee Prince for newbie drama addicts.
Best A-hole to hero journeys:
- 1. Gaksital
- 2. The King 2 Hearts
The more I watch, the higher my expectations become.
And, also, the bigger the disappointment when the drama does not deliver what it promised.
