I enjoyed it as a light watch, binge watched it in two days, it’s not a very complicated story, the acting was top notch! and the visual effects are so good! for a cdrama I was surprised as my issue with fantasy cdramas is always the visual effects ! I don’t know the original work so I am not going to compare, but I loved the world building and the different kinds of soul masters especially the douluo soul masters (those will appear in later episodes) very interesting, i will probably read the original novel next I loved tang san so much he was so gentle, kind, brave and loyal.
The relationship between tang san and his master is my favorite relationship. And as supporting characters I loved osk and rongrong.
