Hilarious but intelligent characters & story
I looooove this series a lot! The mix of characters are just so perfect. There’s comedy, thriller, suspense, mystery and action! Oh and a bit of drama and human interest.I especially love Teddy Jeong and his “kids.” I also like the musical score each time Teddy appears! Hahaha
Although it may appear comedic, the characters are actually very intelligent and smart. I like that the Detective is so smart and you would think the story is going off rails but actually, it’s not! The Detective really explores other angles and that’s what made him so smart! I also love the medical examiner.

Left my rolling my eyes
The reason I gave just 5 stars/10 is because I was so hyped and glued to the story until the ending made me roll my eyes. So many loop holes and the ending will just leave you saying "what the ---"Acting was good though and so is the musical score. It is like Squid game or Battle Royale, you can't be attached to a character cause you know, they just die.
If you don't want to spoil your view about this show, spare yourselves and stop halfway through the last episode. The ending will just make you shake your head and say, "no." "this is crap."

Remake well done
First off, I didn’t even know it was a remake of a Korean 2010 movie, but I can just imagine how the visual effects back then, 13 years ago, it might be a bit crude but in 2023 the effects are more fluid, so that’s a plus!I watched this movie with the expectation that it would be another help-ghost-fulfill-wishes movie like Robert Downy’s Hearts and Souls, but to my surprise it was different. The twist at the ending makes the perfect sense. Not to mention, the acting is so good. The main lead seriously can switch from one character to another.

Gripping story til the end
I thought this would be the same story as cheating husband - wife finds out - mistress tries to kill wife. But it’s not.
It’s actually brilliant. I love the mother in law who uses clever techniques to catch the culprits. But it’s the meanings behind the story that really caught me thinking. There are some things I also noticed that this kdrama would addresses. For one, looks like Korea isn’t as openly accepting of queers. Another is how they treat their pets - it was clearly snowing but they kept the dog out in its house plus the dog is mostly tethered during the show.
Also made me wonder - what happened to the cat who went into where Do Hyun was held? Did it ger out? Was it the ghost of the cat Les Se Na killed long ago? That would’ve been a creepy twist. But the mother in law never mentioned the cat.
Lastly, I like how they ended the show. While the wife visited the mother in law in the snowy mountain villa, she slipped in the snow and fell facing up the sky. She said “it’s not bad to slip once in a while.” I find that very clever… when she slipped, she was facing up and saw the beautiful blue sky with the snowy branches of trees in the foreground, and it was a beautiful sight. Meaning it’s not bad to slip once in a while because while you're down there facing up, you’ll realize there is a beautiful sky up there and that made falling down not so bad. If she hadn’t fall, she wouldn’t have seen the beautiful snowy sky/landscape.

What a masterpiece
Hooked from the start to the finish. Well made movie. I immediately googled the characters and read about the history of Joseon dynasty. Super fascinating facts.I love the concept although kinda hard to believe but hey, if there are animals like a bat who can see in the dark but barely in the day, then this could also be possible.
Musical score is great. Cinematography is also good. Acting, especially the ML, is super good. Well, the King irked me so he acted good.
Must watch!

Too unrealistic
So many questions … first off, the first 3 episodes are good but too many questions popped into my mind. Why was she unrecognizable given she became a public figure? She could NOT have walked from West coast to East coast on foot! She will not survive unless she has money to spend for hotels, food and clothing. It would take months to walk across the US! Does the Korean writer know this? How did she enter Canada without visas, without anything? The climate changes up in the North, how did she cross the wilderness without getting attacked by some wild animal? It is too unrealistic. It would have been better if she stayed in the west coast and became an illegal alien. So disappointed with the ending. I thought the ending was hilarious.Vond je deze recentie nuttig?

I had high hopes
(contains spoilers)I admit I am only in 3 episodes in but I already got a feel of what this drama is about. Okay, so it’s a zombie thing but actually not.
Plot - it is interesting and the story could have been told better.
Romance - not buying it. It felt so forced. The 2 leading roles have no chemistry at all. Plus! They suddenly decided to get married all for one luxury rental apartment. I found it weird that they could move in in a day and things are smooth. Like, the guy just suddenly packed up all his things and move in a day? It just doesn’t makes sense!
Thrilling scenes - I got excited when the story picked up the pace at the second episode. Yes! Her hyung got scratched! Yes he is going to turn! So okay, this episode got me excited.
Disappointing unrealistic scene - so come this episode where her Hyung gets trapped in the refrigerated container with all the infected people and turned himself, the lead lady went in and tried pulling him out WITHOUT A SINGLE SCRATCH OR BITE! Then comes her “supposedly husband” and went in and pulled them both out! And she got out unscathed! That scene did not make any sense at all!
I am still going to continue watching it for the sake of knowing what really is going on so I hope it gets better towards the end.

Makes you wonder
This drama makes you wonder - who is right and who is wrong?I like that it makes your brain and emotions debate to what is right and did they make a right choice?
Is the mother’s actions right? Or is the dead driver’s son correct? Which actions are justified? To be honest, it depends on each viewer. This makes the story flavorful.
Somewhat predictable for some parts especially the adultery part but hey, I’ve seen hundreds of dramas and this part of a storyline usually happens haha.
The dead driver’s son (Cha Eun Woo) is somewhat a villain but then he was also a victim so you don’t really know if his actions were justified.
The mother who wasn’t remorseful of what she did was also kind of a villain, why getting her emotions get a hold of herself.
Watch the drama and ask yourself who is really the villain in the story.

Perfect Marriage Perfect Chemistry
I have never seen such good chemistry amongst male and female lead since Do Bong Soon. The chemistry is just sizzling, also their acting is pretty good. All cast are good actors. I also want to commend Lee Min Young for her acting. I watched her in Love Marriage Divorce where she portrayed a timid nice respectful lady turn into a vicious annoying lady in Perfect Marriage Revenge - she is just so convincing! Making her a super good actress.
Story line is a bit of a fantasy / time travel which of course it’s not true to life but I guess it’s just one aspect the writers want to interject so there’s a way to go back in time. I think of it as a metaphor of changing your life while you still have time.

So not worth it
I don’t know but the main character is super annoying. The other actors are okay. Super animated series to the extent it’s almost slapstick but I guess that’s what they were going for.Perhaps the only actors who are good were Carson Allen, Choi Young-Jae, Minnie and Hyun Min. Minnie was natural so that’s a good thing. Carson does a good job portraying her glutton character. Perhaps the most fun to watch was these 4 characters in the lounge area exchanging dialogues. All these 4 actors are good but The RA and main role is just super annoying!
Not really worth binging on.

Superb acting
Both Jim Young and Sung Woong were equally superb in their roles both in their original bodies and switching bodies. This movie is too funny! Those slaps though! I have watched this movie twice now and the humor is somewhat like the Kmovie Extreme Job. Funny as heck. Sure the storyline is not unique but the twists are, and the actors’ portrayals of their character is just too engaging! It’s more of a feel good movie but the action scenes are great. Sung Woong is just super funny.
You MUST watch it!

Most tiring drama ever
Okay, I admit, the storyline was a bit interesting - although it is a bit common. The reason I was able to watch 25 episodes was because i fast forwarded the 30 minute episodes due to boredom to:1) the main female lead. The drama wants to portray her as a goody two shoes, saintly good girl but she just becomes annoying and annoyingly nosy. maybe it's because of her personality, it doesn't give out a sweet innocent vibe.
2) the chemistry between ML and FL is just boring.
3) the male lead is such a dork.
4) the Dream Food family as a whole. the Father CEO and the "real" mother of FL relationship is such a drag.
5) the Dream Food CEO's nephew and FL chemistry is a FLOP. No chemistry at all. UGH.
There are some good parts tho:
1) Villain female's acting is good to the point that you root for her LOL. I was yelling, "switch the baby!" rooting for her.
2) the Villain's storyline is kinda like pitiful, although the mother was evil but you know how emotions will take you when you know your husband cheated on you.
3) the Grandma Bobaejung is cute.
I can easily predict the ending though.
FL gets divorced. Dream food CEO's nephew is divorced and will get together with FL. FL's baby didn't die - she was adopted by Nephew's family with his auntie (real mother) DF CEO's 2nd wife as the grandma. ML will be together with female Villain, their daughter Soo Yi is their daughter anyway. Annoying FL will be proven the real granddaughter - lives happily with Ahjumma and An Na (adopted daughter of nephew). Meanwhile cheating ML ends up with female villain and remains poor.
ALSO ... WHO WOULD WANT TO WATCH 120 EPISODES OF THIS BORING PREDICTABLE DRAMA? Please end it at 25!
