I really like it
If you watched Pornographer, you “must” watch Playback and Spring Life Continued. I posted before, according to the Twitter of the production company, the correct order to watch is Pornographer, Mood Indigo, Spring Life, Playback and Spring Life Continued. I didn’t know this and watched SLC first before Playback because SLC was available. Not a big deal but watching SLC the last will definitely give you a better feeling of completion. I have to admit I haven’t watched Indigo because Kido creeps me out. I will probably watch it eventually.Now about Playback, I love this better than Pornographer. This dives deeper into the personality of Rio and the development of their relationship. I think the whole series is a 9 for me. But bear in mind this is a movie, so compared to the series, everything here is a little rushed. I still think it showed everything needed to be told. I don’t really think I have spoiler in this review but I checked that anyway. ☺️

I can understand why some people didn’t like this as much. The relationship of the main cp didn’t follow a typical BL format. There’s no guessing, tug of war etc. But that’s exactly what the title is, Oxygen. You don’t have to play games with oxygen, you just naturally depend on it and can’t live without it. What I don’t like is actually the last part when they tried to make a drama out of it, going back to the old lakorn format; taking out the freshness and replaced it with cliche. Also wish they could talk about the relationship between the father and his assistant. Overall, if you fast forward the siblings/doctors part, it’s watchable BL.Vond je deze recentie nuttig?
Not that bad
Just like the title, not too bad. It’s watchable by my standard. I agreed with most reviews, KingRam is the most interesting. I skipped BohnDuen a lot after 10 episodes or so, not only because the theme is repetitive, also because it’s kinda embarrassing to watch, so awkward to see them flirt. Remaining two couples, sort of ok but I don’t like Boss. Just dislike his character in here. If you have nothing to watch and want a BL, My Engineer is ok. It seems season two will focus more on other couples than the main in season one, I’m looking forward to it.Vond je deze recentie nuttig?
