I got into dramas when I found out a lot of the anime I watch became live action shows. I wish a lot of the dramas that were in Korea and Japan were made into American ones. The only show like Asian dramas in America is Ugly Betty (<3). If you like K- and J-dramas, you might like Ugly Betty.

I like romance and comedies. Winters are very cold where I am at, so these kinds of dramas get me through the season.

I teach at an entirely Asian school and get a lot of my recommendations from my students. It's fun having something in common to talk to them about besides grammar or literature. But I like those topics too!
